APC Metered Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) provide active metering to enable energy optimization and circuit protection. User-defined alarm thresholds mitigate risk with real-time local and remote alerts to warn of potential circuit overloads. Metered Rack PDUs provide power utilization data to allow Data Center Managers to make informed decisions on load balancing and right sizing IT environments to lower total cost of ownership. Metered Rack PDUs include real power monitoring, a temperature/humidity sensor port, locking IEC receptacles, and ultra low profile circuit breakers. Users can access and configure Metered Rack PDUs through secure Web, SNMP, or Telnet Interfaces which are complimented by APC Centralized Management platforms using InfraStruxure Central, Operations, Capacity, and Energy Efficiency.Remote Management CapabilitiesLocal Current Monitoring DisplayAlarm ThresholdsLoad indicator LEDIntegrates with InfraStruXure CentralFlash UpgradeableRack-MountableSingle input power sourceWide range of input and output connections

The new LSI BBU-BRACKET-05 is a remote mounting board that allows customers to remotely mount their battery backup or CacheVault Power Module (CVPM) in an adjacent server PCI slot. The BBU-BRACKET-05 allows one or two BBUs or CVPMs to be attached at a time and comes with a full-height bracket installed, while an optional low-profile bracket is included as part of the kit. Both brackets are ‘vented’ to allow for maximum cooling air flow in the vicinity of the battery.
The MegaRAID® SAS 9280-4i4e, with four internal and four external ports, supports both internal drive storage and external JBOD expansion. Using the external SAS ports, multiple JBODs can be connected to a server, providing a scalable and affordable solution for growing storage requirements. With data transfer rates of up to 6Gb/s per port, the MegaRAID 9280-4i4e brings users new features and improved performance while continuing to support all the features of the previous 3Gb/s SATA+SAS generation.
