It covers the whole length of the graphics card PCB, acts as an aesthetic upgrade and additionally provides passive cooling for the backside of the voltage regulation module (VRM) and the GPU core. The part is CNC-machined from anodised aluminium, which is more rigid and more scratch-resistant than painted plastic. Key Features Anodised aluminium: The anodised surface is more scratch-resistant than paint and keeps its colour over time. Passive additional cooling: Thermal pads transfer heat from the back of the PCB to the surrounding air. Full PCB coverage: Covering the entire length of the PCB protects the card mechanically and prevents sagging. Black finish: Matched to the water blocks and fittings of the same finish.
