Homematic IP HmIP-PCBS

The Homematic IP HmIP circuit board (HmIP-PCBS) is a universal module for integrating conventional electrical devices into the Homematic IP smart home system. The compact board is installed in a suitable location inside the device housing and can be connected to an existing button or signal input. A miniature relay enables switching loads with up to 30 V/1 A. If the relay is not required, it can be broken off from the board to reduce its size. The remaining open-collector switching output can then be used with up to 30 V/0.5 A. After installation, compatible household devices, lighting installations, custom µC applications and garage door drives can be controlled via the Homematic IP Access Point, the Homematic IP App, a remote control or a wall button. The module is intended for devices that are to be expanded with Homematic IP functions. The module communicates wirelessly and is designed for indoor use. Its maximum reception range in an open field is 350 m, while the operating current consumption is 50 - 70 mA. The operating temperature range is -10 - 35 °C.
