These two related concepts consider the ways in which a psychology education can help students and graduates to apply psychology to everyday life in order to solve problems for themselves, for their employers, and in the wider community.The book begins by introducing these concepts, and then introduces the concept of thinking about psychology in relation to the self. Subsequent chapters address psychology in relation to a widening social circle and the text closes with applying psychology in a global context.
