This book contains information about all fighting ships and boats that were part of the PLA Navy, as well as para-military maritime organizations of the PRC (Coast Guard, Fisheries Law Enforcement Department, Naval Surveillance Service) from 1949 to 2023. Data on commissioning, decommissioning, performance characteristics, data on modernizations are given. The articles are accompanied by a large number of illustrations, mostly side views of ships on a standard scale.
