Watercool HEATKILLER D5 PWM

Spherical engine principle invented by Laing The D5-PWM DC pump works according to the spherical motor principle invented by Laing. The only moving part is a spherically shaped, permanent magnet rotor/impeller unit, which is supported by a wear-resistant, ultra-hard ceramic bearing ball. In this case, there is no conventional shaft bearing with bearing bushes. The development of bearing play and thus an increase in operating noise is not possible due to the design. The pump remains quiet and low-noise throughout its entire running time. The self-adjusting bearing is lubricated and cooled directly by the pumped medium (wet rotor pump). Separate maintenance is not necessary. All parts that come into contact with the medium are completely corrosion-resistant. Due to the ball motor principle, it is generally not possible for the pump to become blocked. The pump starts up safely even after a long period of downtime. The permanent magnet motor technology ensures that the pump is very efficient. Speed controller integrated into the stator The speed of the pump can be continuously adjusted over a wide range using a speed controller built into the stator. This can be used to set a desired hydraulic output, but also to limit the electrical power consumption. The pump always starts with the same torque regardless of the set speed, so that reliable starting is guaranteed even at the lowest power level. Watercool Pump Interface The Watercool Pump Interface (WPI) is the central interface for connecting pumps. In addition to the supply voltages, PWM, RPM and aRGB signals are also transmitted via a single cable. The cable routing is therefore compact and elegant. Optimized for HEATKILLER TUBE and MO-RA IV Tank The pump is delivered without any attachments. A suitable pump attachment (e.g. HEATKILLER® D5-TOP) or an expansion tank with D5 option (e.g. MO-RA IV Tank or HEATKILLER TUBE) is required for operation. The electrical connection is made via the Watercool Pump Interface (WPI).
