Using tools of documentary filmmaking, found objects and an expanded visual language Rahima Gambo explores the experimental narrative of walking. In her videos and installations documentary storytelling, embodiment, psycho-spiritual geography, sociopolitics, urban environment, and autobiography intersect. Based on her video the artist contextualizes her work in Nigeria's political situation, describing walking as an artistic practice as well as an act of everyday resistance.
