When you work in an organization for many years, you can't help but assimilate the organizations ways of thinking and being. This was my experience in my 32-year career. You learned by observing your leaders. It's what you had to go on unless you were lucky to have an exceptional forward-thinking leader as mentor. My experience is, they are few and far between, because they have learned from observing their leaders. This is what people mean by a "work culture."
