Our Knowledge Publishing Literature: Designing an Effective Learning Situation

Literature: What kind of teaching approach? What strategy? How can modern educational theories be applied to a discipline where assessment remains a difficult hurdle to overcome? If students find it difficult to gauge the quality of their essays and to know whether they have adequately answered the question and met the teacher's expectations, what kind of assessment should be designed to avoid demotivating them? How many students are disappointed after their literary work is graded? Why, in the eyes of students, is the fault often placed on the teacher because they did not use an effective teaching method? Why, for the teacher, is the fault placed on the students because they did not put in enough effort to succeed? Why, then, does such a gap exist between expectations and results?
