The EK-Quantum Vector RTX RE D-RGB high-performance water block is an evolution of the original EK-Quantum Vector water block where the standard 12V RGB is changed with 5V D-RGB which has separately addressable diodes. This water block is specially designed for multiple reference NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX Turing based graphics cards. This product is also compatible with the reference NVIDIA GeForce RTX SUPER cards. For detailed compatibility check the EK Configurator. The cooling engine is tweaked for even more performance with an optimized flow pattern. It also offers extended compatibility fitting more reference design based graphics cards. This water block is compatible with all reference design GeForce RTX 2080 based graphics cards, but as always, we recommend that you refer to the EK® Cooling Configurator for a precise compatibility match. The water block directly cools the GPU, VRAM and the VRM (voltage regulation module) as cooling liquid is channeled directly over these critical areas. These newly developed water blocks feature a redesigned cooling engine that has a larger footprint compared to the previous generation of EK® Full Cover water blocks. This results in a larger surface area for heat transfer which increases the thermal performance of these water blocks. The EK® Vector Series water blocks use an Open Split-Flow cooling engine design which proved to be a superior solution for GPU water blocks. It is characterized by low hydraulic flow restriction, which means that it can be used with weaker water pumps, or pumps running on low-speed settings and still achieve top performance. The jet plate and fin structure geometry have been optimized to provide even flow distribution with minimal losses and optimal performances even when used in reversed water flow scenarios. The base of the block is CNC machined out of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is CNC machined out of high-quality black POM Acetal. Sealing is ensured by high-quality EPDM O-Rings. The brass standoffs are already pre-installed and allow for a safe and easy installation procedure. The front aesthetic corner piece is lit up with an addressable LED strip. This product is compatible with popular RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers. The arrow marking on the 3-pin LED connector is to be aligned with the +5V marking on the D-RGB(addressable) header. EK® recommends the purchase of a retention backplate which improves the aesthetics of your graphics cards, but also provides additional passive cooling to the GPU core and circuit board VRM section. G1/4" threaded fittings can be used on both sides of the terminal and for multiple GPU connectivity, please refer to our offer of EK-Scalar GPU Terminals. The EK-Quantum Vector RTX RE GPU water block terminal cover is not compatible with FC Terminal X and FC Terminal (Legacy) multi GPU connectivity bridges. The EK-Quantum Vector Strix RTX 3080/3090 D-RGB water block is compatible with the ROG Strix RTX 3080 and 3090 graphics cards. The Vector water block actively cools the GPU, the VRAM (on the front), the MOSFETs in the VRM (voltage regulation module), the PWM controller and all chokes including the input rail. The water block contacts each individual inductor to suppress any possible whimpering of the coil. EK water block for Vector ROG Strix 3080/3090 Acetal These newly developed water blocks have optimised flow paths that reduce hydrodynamic instabilities and turbulence (dead spots) in their interior. In addition, this new design allows the copper cold plate to expand almost the entire length of the PCB, which also cools less critical components for maximum efficiency. The EK-Quantum Vector series water blocks use an open split-flow cooling motor design that has proven to be the superior solution for GPU water blocks. It features low hydraulic flow restriction, which means it can be used with weaker water pumps or with pumps running at low speeds and still achieve peak performance. The geometry of the nozzle plate and fin structure has been optimised to ensure even flow distribution with minimum losses and optimum performance in any orientation of the coolant flow. The Fin Array is equipped with 28 micro fins with 0.6 mm wide micro-channels that provide optimum cooling performance without unnecessary flow restrictions or risk of clogging. The base of the block is CNC-machined from nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the top is CNC-machined from durable black POM acetal. These 2nd generation Vector GPU water blocks also have acetal connections to match the top cover. The watertight seal is ensured by high quality EPDM O-rings, while brass spacers are pre-installed for a safe and easy installation process. The Eisblock XPX Aurora Edge has a special injection technology that was developed and patented by Alphacool itself. Alphacool stellt die neuste Generation des Eisblock Aurora Wasserkühlers für Geforce RTX 40XX Grafikkarten vor. The cooler is compatible with all common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel. The built-in pump has a speed range of 2500 - 3500 RPM (+/- 10%) and can be controlled via PWM. The pump is connected to the mainboard or to an external controller via the existing 4-pin fan connector. This allows the speed range of the pump to be controlled and monitored. Hoses & Connections The FEP hoses are 40cm long, sleeved and very flexible. The rotatable 360° connections to the cooler and to the radiator are permanently installed and cannot be replaced. However, the combination of hoses and connectors allows a very variable positioning of the AiO even in the tightest PC case. Illumination 12 digitally addressable 5V RGB LEDs are installed in the pump housing, which create a unique, very noble-looking illumination. The digital aRGB LED lighting is connected via a JST 3-pin connector. To control the lighting, the 3-pin female connector must be connected to a digital RGB controller (not included) or a digital RGB-capable mainboard. Additional digital RGB LEDs can be connected to the remaining 3-pin male connector. Thermal compound The thermal paste included in the delivery has a thermal conductivity of 7.5 W/mK.
