The Eisbaer Aurora HPE Edition 360 CPU AIO water cooling features the extremely powerful NexXxos HPE Performance all-copper radiator equipped with the high-throughput Aurora Rise 120mm fans. All of the components used come from the classic DIY water cooling range and are also used for the most part in the enterprise products for servers. The Eisbaer LT Aurora can be expanded with additional components thanks to the quick-release fastener. Alphacool's Eisbaer Aurora HPE Edition 360 CPU AIO is a high performance all-in-one water cooling system that is as easy to install as an AIO, but offers the performance of a pre-assembled and pre-filled custom loop. New HPE Radiator! The NexXxos ST30 HPE Radiator uses the same materials as previous NexXxos models, but takes it a step further technically. Due to the condensed internal structure, the number of water channels and copper fins could be increased. Thus, a larger volume of water is in direct contact with the cooling fins and the heat transfer is enormously improved. The higher number of fin rows and their shortening also makes much more efficient use of the cooling surface. Comparison tests with the conventional NexXxos radiator have shown that a performance increase of 4.5K is possible when using the HPE radiator. At higher ambient temperatures and higher fan speeds, the performance gap with the normal NexXxoS radiators even increases progressively, reaching a possible performance increase of up to 6K. The Eisbaer LT Aurora cooler uses the very compact and small DC-LT 2 pump. It provides enough power to add another component such as a GPU water cooler or another radiator to the circuit. Fan The Alphacool Rise Aurora fan offers a wide control range as well as superior Digital aRGB LED lighting. The individually controllable 5V aRGB LEDs paired with the fan's special design create unique effects. The fan can be controlled from 0 to 2500 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connector. Additionally, it offers a Zero control, which allows the fan to be regulated down to 0 RPM and then starts at approximately 350 RPM. Since copper has twice the heat capacity of aluminium, optimal cooling is guaranteed. Cooler and pump The cooler bottom is made entirely of copper and has an ultra-fine cross slot structure. Thanks to those cross slots and a sophisticated nozzle system, heat is absorbed extremely fast and transferred away from the CPU. The built-in DC-LT 2 Ceramic pump is an extremely quiet pump that Alphacool has used in many products. The pump is much stronger than what you’d usually find in AIOs. It can also be throttled with the optional 7V adaptor, decreasing the already low noise generation even further. The pump casing is very flat and the aluminium cap gives it a clean, elegant look. Fittings Alphacool relies on the standard DIY fittings you’d find in any standard water cooling system. Components are made entirely of high-quality brass and use a G1/4” thread. This means fittings can be exchanged easily, just like in a standard system. Maybe you want different tubing or want to switch over to HardTubes – your options are wide open. Quick connectors The Eisbaer LT’s quick connectors make it compatible with all other Eisbaer Ready products, like the Eiswolf GPX-Pro cooler or the Eiswand external radiator. Both products use the same pump – perfect for quickly and easily expanding the cooling loop. Alternatively, you can use the Extension Set or Alphacool HF Quick Connectors (available separately) to integrate other components into the system. Tubing The compact but standard 11/8mm tubing size was Alphacool’s go-to here. The tubing uses anti-kink springs in order to prevent kinks in the tubing. This makes it easy to lay tubing even in tight spaces, meaning the Eisbaer LT is easy to install even in compact cases. Radiator Alphacool has integrated a brand-new 25mm-thin Ultra-Slim Radiator. Unlike most AIO systems, Alphacool’s radiator is not made of cheap aluminium, but rather high-quality copper. With twice the heat capacity, copper significantly increases the radiator’s cooling performance. This is especially noticeable when you reach the performance limits of a radiator. While temperatures in aluminium radiators progressively rise fairly early, copper radiators can keep the temperature stable for much longer. Fans The Eiswind fans were specially designed for use in radiators and provide very high static pressure to force cool air through the radiator’s cooling fins. Both fans can be regulated via PWM over an enormous range of 550 to 1700 RPM. A PWM Y-adapter is included with the Eisbaer LT, so both fans can be connected to a PWM connection on your motherboard or a separate fan controller. At first glance, the Eisbaer LT looks like a typical CPU AIO solution, but a closer look elevates the Eisbaer LT far above the competition. The Eisbaer LT 92 has been launched especially for small form factor cases. The space SFF cases is extremely limited, therefore the Eisbaer LT 92 differs in several points from the normal Eisbaer LT. Perfect for SFF cases The cooling block and pump unit is only 40 mm high; this means it is smaller than the IO panel on the mainboard. This ensures that the Eisbaer LT 92 fits into almost every compact case on the market. The hose length is only 25 cm which means it is optimal for small cases in which the laying of long hoses can become a torture. This is one of the reasons why Alphacool does not use the usual quick release fasteners in the Eisbaer LT 92. Due to the compact dimensions of SFF cases, quick release fasteners can often be too cumbersome. Uncompromising with the materials As is usual with Alphacool, the radiator is made of copper and comes from the well-known NexXxoS series. The antechambers, cooling fins and the water channels are made entirely of copper. The heat capacity of copper is almost twice as high as that of aluminium, which is particularly noticeable when the radiator is driven to its performance limit. When a comparable aluminium radiator fails, the copper radiator really gets going. The cold plate of the Eisbaer LT 92 is also made of nickel-plated copper. The TPV hoses and TPV connections with G1/4" thread come from the Enterprise Solution series for servers and workstations. Pump The DC-LT 2 pump is already used in the normal Eisbaer, Eisbaer Aurora and the other Eisbaer LT CPU AIO water coolers. Its silent capabilities have already been confirmed in various tests of its sister models. The pump rotates at 2600 rpm and generates no significant vibrations. The DC-LT is a powerful pump that is also used for larger loops and offers a high flow rate. The D-Plug from Alphacool's ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS series with 2 G1/4" male threads offers the possibility to connect components like GPU and CPU coolers or radiators within a water circuit. What's New? Compared to double nipples or similar adapters, the ES D-Plug is plugged and not screwed. The necessary stability is provided by two closely fitting O-rings on the Male component of the connector. Of course, the connector has been extensively tested in the Alphacool lab with the result that the D-Plug is stable up to 1.5 Bar. Uses Alphacool's ES D-Plug allows for easy connection of water cooling components such as graphics card and CPU coolers or radiators to each other. Since the connector is only plugged in and not screwed, easy installation or quick replacement are uncomplicated. The ES D-Plug has a variable length. By pulling the connector apart, an extension of up to 15 mm can be achieved. This flexibility allows compensation for inaccuracies in the system design and prevents hoses from twisting during assembly. With the use of the D-Plug, the connection of water cooling elements is possible even in the tightest spaces. The right size for every application The ES D-Plug is available in lengths of 20 mm, 25.5 mm and 31.5 mm. They come in multiple colors such as brilliant chrome or matte black. The new Alphacool Eisblock XPX Aurora Edge CPU water cooler offers fantastic performance thanks to the patented ramp design as well as boasting excellent quality. The new Aurora design in combination with the addressable digital RGB illumination offers many possibilities for outstanding illumination of the CPU water block. Performance in abundance! Alphacool already developed and patented new flow technology for the first Alphacool Eisblock XPX series. The so-called "ramp system" ensures an even flow of water inside the cooler and sits in front of the diffuser plate. This ensures that the water is pressed evenly through the diffuser plate, which in turn pushes the water evenly over the cooling base. The cooling channels on the CPU cooler base has also been enlarged to a proud 34 x 32 mm to accommodate the ever-growing CPU DIEs. This is especially true for multi-core processors with 4, 6, 8 or even 12 and more CPU cores. So that the heat from the CPU can be transferred to the water as quickly as possible. 81 cooling fins can be found on the cooling plate to ensure maximum heat diffusion. The fin structure has been reduced to just 0.2 mm in order to create the largest possible surface area in the smallest possible space. And the lighting? All new Eisblock XPX Aurora Edge CPU waterblocks come with addressable digital RGB lighting. The aRGB LEDs are integrated directly into the CPU water cooler and run once around the entire cooling block. With up to 15 digital RGB LEDs the entire CPU block is evenly and Intensively lit. Of course, the brightness can be controlled by an appropriate controller. And as with all aRGB LED products all known effects can be created. From simple colour changes to wave effects and rainbow lighting, everything is possible. Of course, the Alphacool Eisblock Aurora coolers can also be connected and controlled via mainboards using the standard 3-pin 5V connector. The cable also has an integrated Y-adapter. This makes it easy to connect further Alphacool Aurora products in series without having to order separate Y-adapters. Extension cables may be needed if you want to connect the products in series, depending on the size of the case. Is installation difficult? Mounting the XPX Aurora Edge Eisblock cooler is simple. The backplate is simply attached to the mainboard from behind. The mounting frame for the AMD or Intel socket is clamped to the cooler and the corresponding mounting screws are pre-attached to this frame. Next, you simply apply thermal paste and you attach the cooler using the screws. Please note: Remove the protective foil on the cooler base before use! Unique Aurora Design The Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Edge has been significantly changed in some points to its predecessor, the Eisblock XPX. The lower part of the cooler is completely made of brass and no longer of Acrylglass or transparent nylon. This changes the overall feel and quality of the cooler. Not only is it heavier in the hand, but it is also much more stable than the usual Acryl CPU water coolers. In order to stand out visually from the normal Eisblock XPX Aurora CPU water cooler, the bottom of the cooler was kept completely in black. This emphasizes the visual effect of the water flow.
