Expansion tank and pump form a unit after assembly. In this case, the guideways for the mounting plate in the expansion tank are continued, so is the first time a stable mounting of the plate under the focus of the unit possible. This allows easy use of decoupling rubbers or a shoggy sandwich. The expansion tank is sealed by an O-ring when plugged onto the suction nozzle of the pump, two latches lock into the pump housing and secure the expansion tank against removal and twisting, accidental loosening of the bayonet fitting of the pump is thus excluded. Two 90 ° offset connection threads (front and side) allow for flexible mounting of the return line, allowing the expansion tank to be used optimally even in confined spaces.
