This lets you create a unique look and illumination. On the left side there are two openings for filling or draining fluid. The final two 1/4” threads are meant for the inlet and outlet. As an accessory to the Phobya Banalcer reservoirs, Phobya now offers the "bodies" (Plexi tubes) separately. The possibility of individual purchase of the tubes has multiple advantages: If your tube is worn, scratched or damages, it is no longer necessary to replace the whole reservoir. Should the reservoir have become too small e.g. for an upgraded system, it is now possible to replace the tube by a bigger one or to connect a second one with a tube connector piece (Item No. 46142). The best Alphacool reservoir mounts of all times! Many reservoir mounts were designed for the original tube reservoirs from the beginning of the PC water cooling sector. During the last years though, the reservoirs became larger, sized for more capacity and metal was integrated for the end caps. This resulted in heavier reservoirs, making the construction of more sturdy mounts imperative. With this universal mounting system every tube reservoir with an outer diameter of 50 or 60mm can be mounted safely and securely! The design is based on hose clamps, which are able to safely seal in pressures of multiple bar with their closed-loop clamping design. Of course a possibility for LED installation was also implemented. Two slightly pre-drilled holes in the back can be drilled as needed, and nothing stands in the way of spectacular lighting for your reservoir. What is it? The Alphacool Cape Corp Coolplex HF Metal is the first reservoir from Alphacool which has a base and top made completely out of brass and also has the Lighttower water effect. The base and top are both made of solid nickel-plated brass, creating a uniquely elegant look in your computer. The Cape Corp Coolplex HF Metal doesn’t get its good looks from various gimmicks, but rather from its simplicity and the materials used. And yet, the Cape Corp Coolplex HF Metal still features an optical highlight that has become virtually essential to the Alphacool Series. The Lighttower water effect is included here too. The streams of water coming sideways out of the riser pipe hit the transparent Plexiglas of the reservoir, creating a unique fountain effect that changes at every flow rate. If you’d rather not use the water effect, you can simply fill the reservoir past the riser pipe. The base has two options for connecting both the inlet and outlet – on the side of the base or directly underneath it. This gives you different options for setting up your system the way you want it. You can also pass the water into the reservoir through its top, though this setup does have some disadvantages. This setup means going without the Lighttower water effect, and of course that air will enter the cooling loop when it is switched off. The included clip-on brackets make installation a cinch. The brackets are simply screwed in at the desired place with an M4 screw. If your case doesn’t have holes in the right places, you can simply drill those in. The reservoir just needs to be clipped on. When the Cape Corp Coolplex HF Metal is at the desired height, the clips can be fastened to hold the reservoir in place. With this mounting bracket, you can install all Alphacool “Eisbecher” reservoirs on all standard radiators with 120 and 140mm fans. This ensures you have the most options possible for installation. Assembly is simple. Remove the existing bracket from the “Eisbecher” and replace it with the new one. Each bracket is held up by two small screws. The inner oblong holes are for mounting on units with 120mm fans, the outer ones for 140mm fans. With this mounting kit, an “Eisbecher” reservoir can easily be mounted in most cases, while saving space. For example, you could mount a radiator on the front with fans blowing inward, then mount the “Eisbecher” on the back without disrupting the airflow.
