With the Alphacool Eisstation, you get a compact reservoir that fits into nearly any case. It comes in three different versions. The step towards perfectionThe new Alphacool AGB comes in three different models. You can either connect a Laing DDC, the Alphacool DC-LT or the Laing D5/Alphacool VPP655 at the backplate depending on the model which you use. The brushed plate provides an optical finishing touch which is underlined by the high quality processing. The front consists of a scretch-secure soft-touch surface painted in black-matt. The Eisfach is mounted in two of the front 5,25" bays which provides a good overview of the container and the fill level is easily being checked through the lighted window at the back. Additionally, the Alphacool logo in the front can be lighted by connecting the 3-pin connector with a power source. A lot of details complement the first impression! Two 1/4" holes at the top side are available for the first filling. To refill you can simply remove and extract the fillport in the front and two 1/4" holes at the bottom side facilitate the draining of the liquid. There are two lighting modules at the right hand side at the back of the container behind the window for 5mm LEDs. This provides a unique opportunity for personalised lighting and optic. Further two holes at the left hand side provide additional opportunities to fill or drain the liquid. The last two 1/4" threads are used to fill or drain the container. A Bubble Down module has been placed behind the inlet to prevent turbulences that could lead air into the watercircle. That means connections can be attached on the top, bottom and at the front or back (not on the NexXxoS ST30). Different strengths, 30mm, 45mm and 60mm underscore the wide spectrum that these radiators cover. The installation of the radiators, as well as the fans and radiator faceplates, is easy to do with this series: the M3 threads are standard in the radiator sector, affordable and available in all lengths. Even the dreaded mishap of turning the screws in too deeply won't lead to costly damage with this radiator: an inner protective edge stops the screw before it can come into contact with the fins. The fin spacing was chosen so that the radiator could reach its optimal cooling performance even with slow or medium-speed fans. This is not only comfortable in terms of background noise, but also puts no constraints on the choice of fans.  All in all, it's where experience and powerful performance meet with a forward-looking approach and sophisticated solutions. The PETG-tubes can be bent with the appropriate bending tools in order to fit into any system easily, without needing any additional angled pieces. Alphacools top for Laing D5 is now a member of the Eisdecke series and receives an update. For years now this top is already a measure. Again and again, small improvements have been made. The second major update differs both, visually and technically in a few details. First, the cooler was brought closer to the individual components by reducing the thickness of the heat conducting pads. Next, the chrome-plated copper block was also made thinner. Step 3 involves the constant optimisation of the water flow within the cooler. The result: All important components such as voltage converters and RAM are cooled much better and more effectively by the water and the cooling performance increases significantly.Brilliant design!The addressable digital aRGB LEDs are embedded directly in the cooling block and run along the sides of the entire cooler. The effect is an illumination that engulfs the entire cooling block. No corner or edge is left unlit by the aRGB LEDs. The new design is more angular, with all edges bevelled. The result is better light diffusion in the water cooler due to the reflections on these bevels. They also create various contours that give the Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX cooler its very own visual touch.Copper or aluminium?Alphacool uses only copper for all water-bearing parts. Copper has almost twice the thermal conductivity of aluminum and is therefore clearly the better choice of material for water cooling. The cooler is made entirely of chrome-plated copper. A chrome plating is much harder than a nickel plating and therefore less sensitive to acids, scratches and damage. It completely eliminates the risk of chipping nickel plating. Additionally, chrome plating looks much more homogeneous and provides a shine that cannot be achieved by nickel plating.Other special featuresThe Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX GPU cooler has the patented screw plugs, which sit flush with the surface of the terminal. The Alphacool logo sits in the corner on the top and is also fully illuminated. On the front of the terminal, corresponding designations of the compatible graphics card manufacturers can be seen. Of course, these are also fully illuminated by the adressable digital LEDs. IN and OUT are marked by small discreet triangles. They are easily recognisable and fit perfectly into the overall visual line of the graphics card water cooler.
