The aqualis ECO series reservoirs are equipped with a borosilicate glass tube which, unlike the acrylic glass commonly used for tube reservoirs, has very high hardness and scratch resistance, very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube has an outer diameter of 75 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and lid of the aqualis series are made of Delrin, the lid and bottom are connected by a nickel-plated brass tube. A visual highlight is the integrated water column effect. If the return line is connected to the central connection of the aqualis, the water flows through the central brass tube to the cover and exits through eight openings, which is a real eye-catcher especially in connection with lighting. A thin acrylic sheet close to the bottom of the aqualis minimizes air entry into the circuit. Alternatively, the return can be connected to a side port, the water then flows back from the ground into the surge tank. For this configuration, a baffle is included, which in turn ensures good ventilation of the circuit. With the series "airplex radical" the German water cooling specialist aqua computer offers a radiator series, which is tuned for performance and function at a fair price. The triple version offered here for three 140 mm fans per side comes with copper fins inside the stainless steel frame and is criss-crossed by four rows of copper pipes for extreme cooling performance. The airplex radical 4/420 is 460 mm long, 140 mm wide and 73 mm high. It can carry one-sided three-140-fan out-of-the-box, if the two-sided assembly is provided, 12 optionally available thread inserts (M3) must be acquired. The "airplex radical" series is based on the experiences that aqua computer has gained in the development of the "airplex modularity Series" (AMS), whereby much has been reduced to the essentials for the "airplex radical" models. This has created an extremely high quality processed radiator with an incredible price-performance ratio. Like the AMS brothers, the "airplex radical" heat exchangers have no solder joints and are therefore free from tin residues when delivered. Only Delrin, stainless steel and copper come into contact with the coolant - even with the variants with aluminum lamellae. For a perfect fan assembly, aqua computer has come up with a new system with high-quality nickel-plated brass threaded sleeves. This proprietary system is designed to allow the nuts to protrude into the holes in the fan, effectively dropping them into position themselves. Anyone who has ever installed fans on a radiator will appreciate this! The system also has the advantage that the thread is extended and the screw is further away from the lamellae, so that the risk of a screw screwed in too far is greatly reduced. In a radiator mounting without a fan, the sleeves can also be used turned 180 degrees, so that the heat exchanger can be mounted without a gap, for example, in a housing cover. Should a thread be damaged, you can simply replace the defective sleeve with a new one. This pump is the first pump worldwide which is used in mass-produced water cooled workstations and is ideal for the watercooling of processors and electronic components. Due to its compact size and its power it can be used for many applications. This DC pump is an electronically commuted ball motor pump with an estimated lifespan of more than 50.000hrs at 12V. The only moving part on the pump is the spherically shaped Rotor unit which is sitting on an ultra-hard, wear-resistant ceramics bearing ball. A conventional shaft with bearings and seals is not used or needed. The spherical bearing of the rotor unit on the ceramics bearing ball has many advantages: The development of bearing clearance is technically impossible which results in the impossibility of noise level increase over the lifespan of the pump. The bearing is self-adjusting, making the pump consistently quiet in operation over the full lifespan. The pump is directly lubricated by the coolant (wet-running pump). Therefore no maintenance is required. As the rotor is magnetically held in place even small dirt particles pose no problem for the mechanism, a blocking of the pump is not possible under normal operating conditions. Even after a long period of standstill reliable operation is ensured. The permanent magnetic rotor unit is frictionlessly driven by a magnetic field which is produced by the surrounding stator. The stator is completely built around the rotor, therefore the pump is with its 38mm only slightly higher than the stator unit. It therefore fits a in almost any PC case, may it be Super tower or Barebone. A separate magnetic shielding is usually not required. The ball motor principle allows powerful yet power-saving operation. The pump can be regulated by power variations of the DC operating voltage over a wide range.
