Alphacool Eisblock ES Acetal GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 Turbo with backplate The Alphacool Eisblock ES Acetal GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 Turbo was specially developed for the Alphacool Enterprise series. The full-cover cooler with aluminium backplate cools the GPU and all important components such as voltage converters and the graphics memory directly with water. Connections to the top? Server cases offer different dimensions than normal PC cases. To save space in width and height, the connections were moved to the top. Another advantage is that it is easier to connect the tubing of a complete server rack with this kind of positioning of the connections. This means that even quick-release fasteners with G1/4" external thread can be screwed directly to the graphics card as already offered by Alphacool. More performance! During the development of the Eisblock ES Acetal GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 Turbo graphics card waterblock, we naturally placed great emphasis on increasing performance. For the first step, the cooler was brought closer to the individual components by reducing the thermal pads to a thickness of 1 mm. Next, the nickel-plated copper block was also made thinner. Instead of 7 mm, it is now only 5.5 mm thick. The water flow within the cooler was also optimized. All important components such as the voltage converters and the RAM are now cooled much better and more effectively by water. All this provides a significant increase in cooling performance. Copper or aluminum? Alphacool, of course, only uses copper in its water coolers. In the Eisblock ES Acetal GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 Turbo the copper is nickel-plated. In order to dissipate the enormous heat of this graphics card generation in the best possible way, numerous optimizations have been made to the water cooler compared to the previous model. The fin structure was adapted and enables a very good water flow while increasing the cooling surface. The modified jet plate with improved inflow engine ensures an optimal distribution of the water on the cooling fins.Technical HighlightsThe fin structure of this Eisblock cooler generation was developed together with Nvidia board partners. The fin thickness is 0.4 mm, the distance between the cooling fins is 0.4 mm. This ensures a very good water flow while increasing the cooling surface. The jet plate has a revised inlay that spreads the water pressure better over the fins thus optimizing the heat absorption. In order to dissipate the enormous heat of this graphics card generation in the best possible way, numerous optimizations have been made to the water cooler compared to the previous model. The fin structure was adapted and enables a very good water flow while increasing the cooling surface. The modified jet plate with improved inflow engine ensures an optimal distribution of the water on the cooling fins.Technical HighlightsThe fin structure of this Eisblock cooler generation was developed together with AMD board partners. The fin thickness is 0.4 mm, the distance between the cooling fins is 0.4 mm. This ensures a very good water flow while increasing the cooling surface. The connections are in two parts, fitted with an O-ring and counter each other when mounted in the acrylic. This not only ensures absolute sealing of each connection, but also allows for the clear and functional appearance of the Alphacool Core Design series.Easy installationWith the included Core Push Mounting kit, the Core Reservoir can be mounted on the case or on a radiator. The metal pins are attached to the radiator or case panel and the matching female sleeves are attached to the Reservoir (see manual). In the next installation step, the Reservoir is simply and tool-free pushed onto the pins. Alphacool's Push-Mounting allows for a secure fit of the reservoir on the case panel or on the radiator and allows for easy disassembly for maintenance or expansion projects.GamechangerThe Core Reservior is small and compact. This makes the reservoir ideal for custom water loops.
