Der laufruhige 120-mm RGB LED-Lüfter von Argus bietet mit seinen 18 RGB LEDs einen stylischen Effekt und leuchtet zudem noch satt den Innenraum des Gehäuses aus. Gummierte Auflagen in den Lüfterecken, auf beiden Seiten des Lüfters, sorgen für einen vibrationsfreien Betrieb und lassen die Option offen, ob der Lüfter kühle Luft ansaugen oder die warme Luft aus dem Gehäuse pusten soll. Der Anschluss erfolgt über einen 4pin PWM-Anschluss am Mainboard und wird zusätzlich noch am 12V RGB-Header des Mainboards angeschlossen, welcher für die synchronen Farbwechsel aller angeschlossenen Komponenten zuständig ist.
Die Alphacool Eisblock XPX Aurora CPU-Wasserkühler bieten dank des patentierten Rampensystems höchste Leistung, gepaart mit einer hervorragenden Qualität. Das Aurora Design im Zusammenspiel mit der adressierbaren digitalen RGB Beleuchtung bietet viele Möglichkeiten für eine herausragende Beleuchtung des CPU-Wasserkühlers. Alphacool hat schon beim ersten Alphacool Eisblock XPX eine neue Einspritztechnik entwickelt und patentiert. Das sogenannte „Rampensystem“ sorgt für einen gleichmäßigen Wasserfluss innerhalb des Kühlers und sitzt vor der Düsenplatte. Dadurch wird das Wasser gleichmäßig durch die Düsenplatte gepresst, wodurch das Wasser sich auch gleichmäßig über den Kühlerboden verteilt. Die Kühlkanäle auf dem CPU Kühlerboden wurden zudem auf stolze 34 x 32 mm vergrößert, um den immer größer werdenden CPU DIEs gerecht zu werden. Das gilt insbesondere für Mehrkern-Prozessoren mit 4, 6, 8 oder gar 12 und mehr CPU Kernen. Damit die Wärme von der CPU schnellstmöglich an das Wasser abgegeben werden kann, sind 81 Kühlfinnen auf dem Kühlerboden zu finden. Dabei wurde die Finnenstruktur auf lediglich 0,2 mm vermindert, um eine möglichst große Oberfläche auf engstem Raum zu erzeugen. Der Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Edge wurde in einigen Punkten wesentlich zum Vorgänger Eisblock XPX verändert. Der untere Teil des Kühlers besteht vollständig aus Messing und nicht mehr aus Acryl oder transparentem Nylon. Dadurch verändert sich die gesamte Haptik und Qualität des Kühlers. Er liegt nicht nur schwerer in der Hand, sondern ist in jeder Hinsicht auch deutlich stabiler als die üblichen Acryl CPU Wasserkühler. Um sich optisch weiter vom normalen Eisblock XPX Aurora CPU-Wasserkühlers abzuheben, wurde der Zwischenboden des Kühlers komplett in Schwarz gehalten. Dadurch wird der optische Effekt des Wasserflusses nochmal hervorgehoben. Die Ecken des CPU-Kühlers sind eckiger gestaltet, wodurch sich der Kühler deutlich vom normalen Eisblock Aurora Acryl abhebt.
