The Alphacool Eiswolf 2 is the first full cover GPU AIO waterblock from Alphacool. It is based on the Alphacool GPX Eisblock Aurora GPX water block, a pump unit and a 360mm NexXxoS ST30 full copper radiator. The latter is equipped with the Alphacool Aurora Rise Digital RGB fans.Fullcover Waterblock?The Eiswolf 2 graphics card AIO water block not only cools the GPU with liquid but also all relevant components that require active cooling. This includes the graphics memory, the VRM and, if necessary, other components that require direct cooling. By using the Eisblock GPX Aurora water cooler, the cooling capacity is identical to that of a DIY graphics card water cooler.PumpThe Eiswolf 2 has a pump unit in place of the normal connection terminal. This pump unit houses the DC-LT 2 pump. An improved and quieter version of the well-known DC-LT Low Noise Ceramic Pump. Despite looking rather large, the pump unit is only 5 mm wider than a normal connection terminal.Fittings and TubingAs with all new AIO units, Alphacool uses only TPV hoses from the Enterprise Solution range for (usually reserved for servers and workstations) in the Eiswolf 2. The tubing is made of EPDM/PP and are extremely heat-resistant, durable, and free of plasticizers. All fittings are also based on the Enterprise Solution range and match the TPV hoses perfectly.ExpandabilityBy using the quick-release fastener, the Eiswolf 2 can be connected to another Alphacool AIO unit to achieve a larger loop in seconds. Alphacool offers various prefilled components with which the loop can be easily extended. For safety reasons, the quick-release fasteners are firmly screwed together and not just plugged together.Lighting and fansThe Eiswolf 2 cooler has a digital RGB LED lighting, also called addressable RGB LEDs. They run along the entire back of the graphics card cooler and provide complete illumination of the water cooler. The pump unit is more discreet and offers a green glowing logo for Nvidia and a red glowing logo for AMD cards. The name "Eiswolf" on the pump unit remains unlit, discreetly in the background. The fan used is the Aurora Rise with 120mm. Due to the special blade design, the fan is extremely quiet and the addressable RGB LEDs provide brilliant illumination. The Alphacool Aurora Rise fan convinces with a max. statistical pressure of 3.17mm/H2O and offers a max. air flow of 119.8m3/h. The PWM control allows the fan to be controlled over a wide speed range. In addition, it offers a zero control. It can therefore be regulated down to 0 rpm and then starts with approx. 350 rpm.NexXxoS RadiatorAs with all AIO units, Alphacool uses radiators from the world renowned NexXxoS series. The full copper radiators offer a much higher cooling capacity than aluminium radiators and have contributed significantly to Alphacool's worldwide success.The combination of all of the components results in a solution that is as simple as an AIO solution to install, but with the performance of a pre-assembled and prefilled custom loop.Technical note!Due to long storage times and various transport routes, the liquid in the Eiswolf 2 AIO remains still for a long time. The ingredients of the liquid can therefore deposit and lead to a brownish discoloration. As soon as the pump starts operating, the ingredients mix again and the liquid should regain an approximately clear color. This is not a reason for complaint as neither the performance nor the function of the AIO are restricted by this. The Alphacool Eiszapfen 20mm L-connector G1/4" OT to G1/4" IT is a 90° elbow with one female thread and one male thread that can be easily integrated into any water circuit. Integration made easy The L-connector is very compact and can be integrated into any water circuit thanks to its G1/4" female and male threads. It is simply screwed to the corresponding G1/4" connections at any position in the water circuit. Design The threads are 5mm deep and high respectively, allowing for the very compact design. Alphacool Eiszapfen pressure valve. A pressure valve for even more security in your system! In a normal system, a normal equalizing tank is usually enough to regulate rising pressure levels. Even the products built into a system are pressure-tested to at least 2 bar. But for users who really have a lot of components built into their loop, very high pressure levels can build up due to the extreme temperature difference between resting and operating. For some components, this makes it advisable to release the pressure with a pressure valve! This pressure valve can be easily screwed into a t-piece, for example, and can thereby be mounted at any part of a loop. Some equalizing tanks have several openings that are generally plugged with sealing caps, which can be used to mount a pressure valve. The G1/4” thread connection is also very short, only 4mm, and fits many other mounting spots in your water cooling system. The slight total height of the valve, only 16mm without screw thread, also gives you many installation options. The seal on its underside offers extra security in keeping your system leak-free. The valve can release excess pressure of 0.3-0.4kg/cm2 or 4.3-5.7psi. The D-Plug from Alphacool's ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS series with 2 G1/4" male threads offers the possibility to connect components like GPU and CPU coolers or radiators within a water circuit. What's New?Compared to double nipples or similar adapters, the ES D-Plug is plugged and not screwed. The necessary stability is provided by two closely fitting O-rings on the Male component of the connector. Of course, the connector has been extensively tested in the Alphacool lab with the result that the D-Plug is stable up to 1.5 Bar. UsesAlphacool's ES D-Plug allows for easy connection of water cooling components such as graphics card and CPU coolers or radiators to each other. The Alphacool 120 mm SL-15 fan is a special slim fan for use on radiators. With a frame height of only 15 mm, it is particularly suitable for use in ultra-compact housings, also known as SFF housings. Compact and powerful With a frame height of only 15mm, the Alphacool 120mm SL-15 fan fits into almost any compact housing. Despite the flat design, the 11 arc-shaped fan blades generate a high air pressure of 1.2mm H2O, a value that is not reached by many normal 120mm fans. The classic fan frame also ensures that no air can escape to the side when used on a radiator. The airflow can also compete with many normal 120mm fans with 25mm thick frames. With more than 70m³/h the SL-15 fan achieves an enormously high airflow compared to similar fans. Therefore, it is also optimally suited as case fan. High control range The fan is controlled by PWM via a 4-pin connector. With a speed range of 600 to 1800rpm the fan can always controlled to your preference.
