The Alphacool 120 mm SL-15 fan is a special slim fan for use on radiators. With a frame height of only 15 mm, it is particularly suitable for use in ultra-compact housings, also known as SFF housings. Compact and powerful With a frame height of only 15mm, the Alphacool 120mm SL-15 fan fits into almost any compact housing. Despite the flat design, the 11 arc-shaped fan blades generate a high air pressure of 1.2mm H2O, a value that is not reached by many normal 120mm fans. The classic fan frame also ensures that no air can escape to the side when used on a radiator. The airflow can also compete with many normal 120mm fans with 25mm thick frames. With more than 70m³/h the SL-15 fan achieves an enormously high airflow compared to similar fans. Therefore, it is also optimally suited as case fan. The Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX is a significant evolution of the previous Alphacool graphics card water cooler, which has been improved in every area. More performance! During the development of the Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX graphics card water cooler, emphasis was naturally placed on increasing performance. First, the cooler was brought closer to the individual components by reducing the thickness of the heat conducting pads. Next, the nickel-plated copper block was also made thinner. Step 3 involves the constant optimisation of the water flow within the cooler. The result: All important components such as voltage converters and RAM are cooled much better and more effectively by the water and the cooling performance increases significantly. Brilliant design! The addressable digital aRGB LEDs are embedded directly in the cooling block and run along the sides of the entire cooler. The effect is an illumination that engulfs the entire cooling block. No corner or edge is left unlit by the aRGB LEDs. The new design is more angular, with all edges bevelled. The result is better light diffusion in the water cooler due to the reflections on these bevels. They also create various contours that give the Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX cooler its very own visual touch. Copper or aluminium? Alphacool only uses copper in its water coolers. In the case of the Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX, the copper is nickel-plated. Compared to the previous models, however, Alphacool has once again improved the type of nickel plating, which has significantly increased the acid resistance. This should prevent the nickel plating from flaking off. Why does Alphacool use copper instead of aluminium? Copper has almost twice the thermal conductivity of aluminium and is therefore clearly the better material for water cooling. Other special features The Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX GPU cooler has the patented screw plugs, which sit flush with the surface of the terminal. The Alphacool logo sits in the corner on the top and is also fully illuminated. On the front of the terminal, corresponding designations of the compatible graphics card manufacturers can be seen. The Eisbaer LT 92 has been launched especially for small form factor cases. The space SFF cases is extremely limited, therefore the Eisbaer LT 92 differs in several points from the normal Eisbaer LT.Perfect for SFF casesThe cooling block and pump unit is only 40 mm high; this means it is smaller than the IO panel on the mainboard. This ensures that the Eisbaer LT 92 fits into almost every compact case on the market. The hose length is only 25 cm which means it is optimal for small cases in which the laying of long hoses can become a torture. This is one of the reasons why Alphacool does not use the usual quick release fasteners in the Eisbaer LT 92. Due to the compact dimensions of SFF cases, quick release fasteners can often be too cumbersome. Uncompromising with the materialsAs is usual with Alphacool, the radiator is made of copper and comes from the well-known NexXxoS series. The antechambers, cooling fins and the water channels are made entirely of copper. The heat capacity of copper is almost twice as high as that of aluminium, which is particularly noticeable when the radiator is driven to its performance limit. When a comparable aluminium radiator fails, the copper radiator really gets going. The cold plate of the Eisbaer LT 92 is also made of nickel-plated copper. The TPV hoses and TPV connections with G1/4" thread come from the Enterprise Solution series for servers and workstations.PumpThe DC-LT 2 pump is already used in the normal Eisbaer, Eisbaer Aurora and the other Eisbaer LT CPU AIO water coolers. The result: All important components such as voltage converters and RAM are cooled much better and more effectively by the water and the cooling performance increases significantly.Chrome-plated copperThe cooler is made entirely of chrome-plated copper. Alphacool Soft Pads with 1mm and 2mm thickness are used on the voltage converter and the graphics memory. The thermal conductivity of the pads is 7W/mK.
