You may have already seen the Alphacool Eiszyklon Aurora LUX Pro fan on the Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora series. It offers a wide control range as well as outstanding digital RGB LED lighting. The individually controllable 5V aRGB LEDs paired with the special design of the fan frame create unique effects. Ingenious Lighting The frame is equipped with digital addressable 5V RGB LEDs which illuminate the whole frame. The frame is not completely transparent, but the illumination is done through narrow slits in four places. On the upper side there are two rows of these slits. Each narrow frame runs along the inside and outside of the frame. This creates a unique illumination which looks very noble. Thanks to the recessed light diffusers the light is distributed evenly. This means that Individual LEDs are no longer visible. Wide Control Range and Silent The fan can be controlled via the 4-pin PWM connector between 600 and 1500rpm. At 600 rpm the fan is almost silent, but still of-fers a good airflow rate as well as a high static pressure. Therefore, the fan can also be used very well on radiators for a water cooling system. Thanks to the high airflow, the fan is also ideal for ventilating a case. Decouplers are also found directly on the frame. The soft foam padding reduces the transmission of vibrations to the case. A further plus point for the silent capability of the fan. Connections? The fan is controlled via a 4-pin PWM connector. The cable is 50 cm long. This allows the fan to be connected to the mainboard or a special controller without any additional adapter cables or extensions. The Alphacool HardTube additionally brings more tidiness into the system which enables a further structured impression. Alphacools HardTube family does get an additional sibling. The new HardTubes made out of borosilicate glass certainly bring a new level of quality into every system. The previous method that has been most commonly used for water cooling systems is normal PVC hoses - now Alphacool introduces a new approach to water cooling. The Alphacool HardTube additionally brings more tidiness into the system which enables a further structured impression. Borosilicate glass ticks every box on the checking list for watercooling systems. Stability and a brilliant appearance are not the only qualities that should lead to chosing this glass as even most chemicals and temperature flactuations can not harm the borosilicate glass. The whole chemical industry is depending on this glass and we can certainly say that this is not without reason. All glass tubes are compatible with the Alphacool HardTube connectors. Alphacool currently offers two classical sizes. One tube with a 16mm outer diameter and another with 13mm outer diameter. Further different length with 90° angles are introduced as its not possible to personally deform these tubes. To cut the tubes for the preferred length Alphacool recommends using a diamand cutting disc for the Dremel®. The adapter in shiny silver from Bitspower is especially designed for the connection of two graphics cards with SLI/ Crossfire to bridge the short distance. If two graphics cards are used, two of the adapters are also required. They are sealed with two rubber rings. The adapter is especially well compatible with Bitspower's Crystal Link Tube series.
