With the Alphacool Eisbaer LT, you get a high-performance compact water cooling system that’s barely inferior to its bigger brother, the Eisbaer AIO. Just like the Eisbaer, the Eisbaer LT distinguishes itself from the usual AIO mix in that Alphacool relied on normal custom components as much as possible during development. This allows the Eisbaer LT to be expanded on not just with the Eisbaer Ready quick connectors but also with connectors using standard G1/4” threads. These can be replaced with other models at any time. Another highlight is the new 25mm thin Slim Radiator, made entirely of copper. Since copper has twice the heat capacity of aluminium, optimal cooling is guaranteed. Cooler and pump The cooler bottom is made entirely of copper and has an ultra-fine cross slot structure. Thanks to those cross slots and a sophisticated nozzle system, heat is absorbed extremely fast and transferred away from the CPU. The built-in DC-LT Ultra Ceramic Low Noise pump is an extremely quiet pump that Alphacool has used in many products. The pump is much stronger than what you’d usually find in AIOs. It can also be throttled with the optional 7V adaptor, decreasing the already low noise generation even further. The pump casing is very flat and the aluminium cap gives it a clean, elegant look. Fittings Alphacool relies on the standard DIY fittings you’d find in any standard water cooling system. Components are made entirely of high-quality brass and use a G1/4” thread. This means fittings can be exchanged easily, just like in a standard system. Maybe you want different tubing or want to switch over to HardTubes – your options are wide open. Quick connectors The Eisbaer LT’s quick connectors make it compatible with all other Eisbaer Ready products, like the Eiswolf GPX-Pro cooler or the Eiswand external radiator. Both products use the same pump – perfect for quickly and easily expanding the cooling loop. Alternatively, you can use the Extension Set or Alphacool HF Quick Connectors (available separately) to integrate other components into the system. Tubing The compact but standard 11/8mm tubing size was Alphacool’s go-to here. The tubing uses anti-kink springs in order to prevent kinks in the tubing. This makes it easy to lay tubing even in tight spaces, meaning the Eisbaer LT is easy to install even in compact cases. Radiator Alphacool has integrated a brand-new 25mm-thin Ultra-Slim Radiator. Unlike most AIO systems, Alphacool’s radiator is not made of cheap aluminium, but rather high-quality copper. With twice the heat capacity, copper significantly increases the radiator’s cooling performance. This is especially noticeable when you reach the performance limits of a radiator. While temperatures in aluminium radiators progressively rise fairly early, copper radiators can keep the temperature stable for much longer. Fans The Eiswind fans were specially designed for use in radiators and provide very high static pressure to force cool air through the radiator’s cooling fins. Both fans can be regulated via PWM over an enormous range of 550 to 1700 RPM. A PWM Y-adapter is included with the Eisbaer LT, so both fans can be connected to a PWM connection on your motherboard or a separate fan controller. At first glance, the Eisbaer LT looks like a typical CPU AIO solution, but a closer look elevates the Eisbaer LT far above the competition. Thanks to its copper radiator and cooling block, its cooling power is enormous, and the quick connectors and custom water cooling components make it easy to expand on. On top of that, you have product options that can connect to the Eisbaer LT without needing to be refilled at all – such as external radiators, prefilled radiators, and graphics card coolers. Water and electronics are not known to be compatible. To ensure that the separation between the two areas remains 100%, even with beloved water cooling, the sealing rings at the connections should be changed regularly. Although they have a long life, similar to vehicle tires, they lose their elasticity over time and become brittle. What leads to reduced grip on the road and provokes accidents in case of doubt, can also cause problems for the Wakü if a system becomes leaky. In addition to the contact of the water with the electronics, especially the sinking water pressure, the higher volume due to air inside the system and, in case of doubt, the total failure of the cooling are a considerable risk for the expensive hardware. With this set of many O-shaped sealing rings even extensive systems can be retreaded. The inner diameter requires use for G1 / 4 inch external thread. These are the most common thread standard, so that with few exceptions almost all screw threads can be sealed. Take care! To connect the individual components of the water cooling, the choice of the correct connections and their sufficient number is essential. Otherwise, installation will quickly become a frustrating experience if assembly fails on the wrong or too few connectors and is delayed due to this. Bitspower offers a comprehensive product range that offers the right solution for every requirement - whether adapters, direct hose connections, brackets or distributors. The design is solid and has a sealing ring. Thus, the connections remain tight and ensure high long-term durability. This is a straight and black nickel-plated G1 / 4 "fitting for 1/2" or 13mm ID tubing in Real Hi-Flow design. Since no union nut is used, any tube thickness and thus outer diameter can be used. Alphacool is now the first manufacturer to offer a mini cooler for M.2 SSDs. This cooler provides passive cooling that ensures better performance power. The airplex radical series combines some key features from the renowned airplex modularity series in a new design, radically reduced to function and performance. The result is a radiator of excellent quality for a competitive price. Just as the airplex modularity series, no welding is performed during production of the airplex radical series, preventing any welding residues inside the radiator. The coolant does not have contact to any other materials than seals, Delrin, copper and stainless steel.For an improved and easier installation process, the airplex radical series comes with threaded inserts made from nickel plated brass that protrude into the mounting holes of the fans. Therefore, fans are "automatically" correctly aligned to the threads - extremely convenient especially with large radiators! Additionally, this results in a deeper thread and the screw can be positioned farther away from the tubes and fins of the radiator, reducing the risk to damage the radiator by using too long screws. If the radiator is to be installed without fans, the inserts can also be installed upside-down resulting in a nearly flat surface, so there is no gap between radiator and PC case.Both sides of the radiator are equipped with slide rails for the threaded inserts and inserts for one side of the radiator are included in delivery. The colored versions have a high end anodically oxidized finish. Delivery includes four struts. One of them is designed to hold a LED strip. Corresponding LED strips are available separately.
