The EK-Quantum Magnitude is the new ultimate bespoke CPU water block from EK that brings the highest cooling performance with the lowest possible flow restriction. The AM4 version of the water block is using a specific combination of flow distribution insert, mounting pressure, and cold plate geometry tailored for the IHS and chiplet layout of AMD AM4 socket processors. Different from any mounting structure used by other water blocks that are usually black and mundane plates, the design accentuates an integrated H-shaped, three-dimensional frame with premium finishes that firmly cradles the main body in place while the screws are morphed into a sophisticated design detail. Specialized manufacturing techniques were deployed to create this truly unique product. Not a single component of Magnitude was made using mass production techniques; instead, every single piece was CNC machined separately, out of a solid piece of material. This version of the water block features a nickel-plated copper cold plate with a high-grade glass-like top CNC machined out of cast acrylic. A CNC machined solid brass insert made it possible to significantly enlarge and optimize the cooling engine. Compared to previous generations of water blocks, the fin array has a 50% bigger surface area, all contained in a smaller footprint to ensure maximum compatibility even with mITX motherboards. The copper cold plate uses 0.40mm wide microchannels and 0.26mm thick microfins to maximize the thermal transfer with minimal flow restriction. Since EK-Quantum Magnitude was engineered from the ground up for each specific socket, the AM4 version features an offset insert that directs more flow over the AMD Ryzen CPU chiplets with the I/O die still getting plenty of flow to keep it cool. The aesthetic interchangeable inner frame is also machined out of a single piece of brass, which is subsequently nickel-plated. The aesthetic frame can be replaced with color-anodized aluminum variants that perfectly match EK-Quantum Torque fitting lineup or with a white POM acetal piece that can be used as a light dispersion element for addressable D-RGB LEDs. The aesthetic interchangeable inner frames are sold separately. Elegantly concealed under the aesthetic inner frame is a LED strip boasting the incredible 30, individually addressable D-RGB diodes that shine inward and illuminate the translucent top. The addressable D-RGB is using an industry-standard 3-pin 5V digital LED connector (Pinout: +5V, Data, Blocked, Ground). The mounting mechanism is a three-dimensional H shaped aluminum piece that makes the screws a seamless part of the water block. The cold plate of the Magnitude water block is intentionally machined into a convex shape to align with the concave shape of the CPU IHS. However, if you are interested in a flat cold plate that works perfectly with lapped CPUs or aftermarket IHSs, EK is providing a special, flat bare copper as well as nickel-plated copper cold plates that are sold separately. The Magnitude is supplied with an additional, thicker jet plate. If the user concludes that his CPU IHS is exceptionally concave (poor thermal paste spread after mounting), the curvature of the water block cold plate can be adjusted by using this secondary jet plate. It will make the center of the contact area bow by an additional 0.1mm outwards, for it to make better contact with the IHS. The Alphacool ES Distro Plates provide order in the system and facilitate the exchange of components in conjunction with quick-release fasteners. They offer extensive mounting options and are the ideal foundation for any enterprise system that is to be equipped with water cooling. Mounting options The ES Distro Plates can be mounted in many ways. The easiest and fastest variant is the mounting via the included self-adhesive Velcro. One side is glued stuck dirrectly to the Distro Plate, the other side to any place in the case. After that, you can simply put the Distro Plate on the Velcro. Alongside the Velcro, special feet and mounting frames are included to provide multiple installation options. With the mounting accessories, the Distro Plate can be mounted to any 120 or 140 mm fan space. The included feet also offer many mounting options, including a vertical mounting option on a single foot. Various threaded holes on the sides and back of the ES Distro Plate offer more direct mounting options, including customized holes for special mounting rails in Alphacool's server racks. Connection options The ES Distro Plate C5 has a total of 22 connection options in G1/4 format with 5mm deep threads. There are 5 connections on each long side, 10 on the top side and one connection thread on each front side. However, it is important to note that all connections are in pairs. If you draw the cooling loop beforehand, you will quickly find the ideal place for the Distro Plate. An ideal place is when all hoses can be laid as straight as possible, bending tubing too tightly should be avoided where possible. If components are to be replaced, the use of Alphacool ES quick connectors with external thread is recommended. This way, all components in the loop can be mounted directly to the Distro Plate with quick connectors. This makes the replacement of, for example, one or more radiators very quickly possible. Alphacools HardTube family does get an additional sibling. The new HardTubes made out of borosilicate glass certainly bring a new level of quality into every system. The previous method that has been most commonly used for water cooling systems is normal PVC hoses - now Alphacool introduces a new approach to water cooling. The Alphacool HardTube additionally brings more tidiness into the system which enables a further structured impression. Borosilicate glass ticks every box on the checking list for watercooling systems. Stability and a brilliant appearance are not the only qualities that should lead to chosing this glass as even most chemicals and temperature flactuations can not harm the borosilicate glass. EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE D5 combo unit is the revolution of the most popular pump-reservoir assembly design on the market. The new Kinetic combo units are part of the EK Quantum Line of products and come with sophisticated addressable D-RGB lighting implementation and a genuine D5 pump! The reservoir is equipped with a total of six G1/4“ ports so that users can choose the most optimal setup for their liquid cooling loops. The top features three G1/4" ports, one of which has a pre-installed nickel-plated brass internal tube which helps to prevent the splashing of the coolant inside the reservoir if the top is to be used as an inlet. Visual appearance combined with functionality. After the successful launch of the “Lian Li 011D Mini MK1“, now the Lian Li Mini is followed by the “MK2” front distro plate. It is made of high-quality and transparent acrylic glass. Despite the small case, our distro plate MK2 allows all radiators as well as GPU and CPU to be connected in the circuit. This is rendered possible by a large chamber and 5 channels with a total of 12 ports (incl. fill port & drain port). The “MK2” will replace the original tempered glass pane. The distro plate is made of high-quality acrylic and the accuracy of fit is assured. Additionally, we use EPDM seals to guarantee leak tightness.
