The Silicone Insert prevents the tube from collapsing at the bends. To help the insert glide better, use a waterbased lubricant or similar. Oil based Lubricant and too much soap should be avoided and never use alcohol as this can damage plastics such as PETG . With the small but practical bending tool you can easily bend simple angles. The tube is pushed into the bending tool, heated with a heat gun and can then be bent very easily. The only additional items you will need are the HardTubes and a heatgun that can produce low emperatures. With this simple combination you can make the liquid cooled PC of your dreams. The expansion tanks in the ULTITUBE series are equipped with a tube made of borosilicate glass, which, in contrast to the Plexiglas often used for tube expansion tanks, has a very high level of hardness and scratch resistance, very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube has an outer diameter of 65 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. Both ends of the glass tube are firmly connected to metal rings made of black anodized aluminum, which do not come into contact with the cooling medium. The base and lid of the ULTITUBE series are made of durable acetal and are screwed to the glass tube. This means that a large opening is available for filling the expansion tank after unscrewing the lid. A filter element made of a fine stainless steel wire mesh is integrated into the bottom of the container, which not only functions as a particle filter but also separates air bubbles. The filter element is integrated into a rubber molded part and can be rinsed out under running water, for example. The seal in the upper area of the glass tube is also designed as a rubber molded part for easy assembly and is therefore securely positioned when the lid is screwed on. The PRO version of the ULTITUBE has a gas exchange membrane integrated directly into the cover of the expansion tank. The membrane continuously compensates for pressure fluctuations caused by temperature changes without allowing coolant to escape. An RGBpx-compatible LED ring with 13 individually addressable LEDs is included in the scope of delivery and can be used to effectively illuminate the expansion tank. An Aqua Computer control unit with RGBpx output is required to operate the LED ring (e.g. D5 NEXT, not included in the scope of delivery). At the end of the strip there is a connector for connecting another RGBpx component. For additional fastening of the expansion tank in the upper area of the glass tube, a rubber fastening ring with a stainless steel insert is included in the scope of delivery. Mounting materials for mounting on a side/rear wall or for standing mounting are included in delivery.
