The previous method that has been most commonly used for water cooling systems is normal PVC hoses - now Alphacool introduces a new approach to water cooling. The Alphacool HardTube additionally brings more tidiness into the system which enables a further structured impression. Borosilicate glass ticks every box on the checking list for watercooling systems. Stability and a brilliant appearance are not the only qualities that should lead to chosing this glass as even most chemicals and temperature flactuations can not harm the borosilicate glass. Visual appearance combined with functionality. After the successful launch of the “Lian Li 011D Mini MK1“, now the Lian Li Mini is followed by the “MK2” front distro plate. It is made of high-quality and transparent acrylic glass. Despite the small case, our distro plate MK2 allows all radiators as well as GPU and CPU to be connected in the circuit. This is rendered possible by a large chamber and 5 channels with a total of 12 ports (incl. fill port & drain port). The “MK2” will replace the original tempered glass pane. The distro plate is made of high-quality acrylic and the accuracy of fit is assured. Additionally, we use EPDM seals to guarantee leak tightness. After the leak test, a test seal is glued on the back of the plate. The screw-fitting points provided by Lian Li are used for fixation. To mount the distro plate safely, 4 screws with sealing disc are included in the scope of delivery. It is important to ensure that only (!) “ECWB SE360 (2x) “ & “ ECA SE240 (1x)“ radiators are usable because the accuracy of fit can only be assured in this case. The connection for 16mm (AD) Hard Tubes from EK Water Blocks, is a compression fitting made of nickel-plated brass. It is kept in black and comes from the Torque series, which convinces with a simple and timeless design. Originally intended for the EKWB Quantum series, this fitting is also compatible with other EK products. In this fitting, the union nut serves as a compression ring, which presses the sealing ring onto the hard tube. It thus offers a higher level of safety and sealing than, for example, the fittings of the EK-HD series. As a small feature, the union nut has a recess under which coloured rings are placed, which provide a bit of individuality and are available separately. This is the 2nd generation Vector GPU water block from the EK® Quantum Line, designed for EVGA® FTW3 RTX 3070 graphics cards based on the latest NVIDIA® Ampere™ architecture. For a precise compatibility match of this water block, we recommend you refer to the EK Cooling Configurator. An EK Water Block for FTW3 RTX 3070 EK-Quantum Vector FTW3 3070 D-RGB water block is compatible with FTW3 RTX 3070 graphics cards. The Vector water block actively cools the GPU, VRAM, power stages, and chokes in the VRM (voltage regulation module). These newly developed water blocks feature optimized flow paths that reduce hydrodynamic instabilities and vortexing (dead spots) inside of them. The EK-Quantum Vector Series water blocks use an Open Split-Flow cooling engine design, which proved to be a superior solution for GPU water blocks. It is characterized by low hydraulic flow restriction, meaning it can be used with weaker water pumps or pumps running on low-speed settings, and still achieve top performance. The jet plate and fin structure geometry have been optimized to provide even flow distribution with minimal losses and optimal performance when used in any given coolant flow orientation. The fin array is populated by 28 microfins with 0.6mm wide microchannels that provide optimal cooling performance, without unnecessary flow restrictions or clogging hazards. The base of the block is CNC-machined out of nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while its top is CNC-machined out of durable POM acetal. These 2nd generation Vector GPU water blocks also feature Acetal terminals. The watertight sealing is ensured by high-quality EPDM O-rings, while brass standoffs are already pre-installed and allow for a safe and easy installation procedure. D-RGB lighting on EK-Quantum Vector FTW3 RTX 3070 D-RGB water block The aesthetic corner end-piece is housing the addressable D-RGB LEDs. This water block boasts a total of 8 individually addressable RGB LEDs, and it is compatible with popular RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers. The arrow marking on the 3-pin D-RGB LED connector is to be aligned with the +5V marking on the D-RGB (addressable) header.
