The container itself is made of high-grade borosilicate glass, which, in contrast to the acrylic glass often used for tube expansion tanks, has a very high hardness and scratch resistance, a very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube of this 150 ml variant has an outside diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and lid, however, are made of Delrin, each have two G1 / 4-inch ports and are connected inside the tube by a stainless steel rod. This version is additionally provided with a nano-coating, which allows water to simply roll off the inside of the glass tube. This creates a cool visual effect that enhances the entire reservoir.
