Before now, the most common approach to water cooling was to use normal PVC tubes – now Alphacool is offering a new way to configure your water cooling system. The HardTube variants bring more order into your system, which gives off a more structured impression. The newest are the brass tubes, available in black chrome and chrome, as well as acrylic tubes, carbon, and borosilicate glass. With their fitted connectors and simply-designed functionality, they can be connected to each other with an absolutely tight seal. The PETG-tubes can be bent with the appropriate bending tools in order to fit into any system easily, without needing any additional angled pieces. In order to install the tubes into the system, they need to be sawn to the correct length. PETG tubes can be bent at lower temperatures than acrylic and are generally more flexible and easier to handle. The perfect solution for perfect curves in the Alphacool HardTubes is now available. Simply slide the silicon insert into the plexiglass tube and heat up the desired section. Thanks to the extreme heat resistance of silicon, the tube can be bent without the curved section buckling. After it cools, the silicon insert can simply be pulled out. Available for tubes with 10mm, 12mm, and now 13mm inner diameters, and each size comes in 30cm length for curves in shorter tubes or 100cm length for curves in longer tubes. The Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX is a significant evolution of the previous Alphacool graphics card water cooler, which has been improved in every area.Important note: The Reference cooler is not compatible with Nvidia's Founders Edition.More performance!During the development of the Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX graphics card water cooler, emphasis was naturally placed on increasing performance. First, the cooler was brought closer to the individual components by reducing the thickness of the heat conducting pads. Next, the chrome-plated copper block was also made thinner. Step 3 involves the constant optimisation of the water flow within the cooler. The result: All important components such as voltage converters and RAM are cooled much better and more effectively by the water and the cooling performance increases significantly.Brilliant design!The addressable digital aRGB LEDs are embedded directly in the cooling block and run along the sides of the entire cooler. The effect is an illumination that engulfs the entire cooling block. No corner or edge is left unlit by the aRGB LEDs. The new design is more angular, with all edges bevelled. The result is better light diffusion in the water cooler due to the reflections on these bevels. They also create various contours that give the Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX cooler its very own visual touch.Copper or aluminium?Alphacool uses only copper for all water-bearing parts. Copper has almost twice the thermal conductivity of aluminum and is therefore clearly the better choice of material for water cooling. The cooler is made entirely of chrome-plated copper. A chrome plating is much harder than a nickel plating and therefore less sensitive to acids, scratches and damage. It completely eliminates the risk of chipping nickel plating. Additionally, chrome plating looks much more homogeneous and provides a shine that cannot be achieved by nickel plating.Other special featuresThe Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX GPU cooler has the patented screw plugs, which sit flush with the surface of the terminal. The Alphacool ES 1U ServerRack has been specifically optimised to accommodate water cooling sets that can dissipate up to 490W of waste heat in this enclosure. For this purpose, the enclosure not only offers a mounting frame for a maximum of one 7x40mm full copper radiator of the Alphacool NexXxoS series. The optionally available Alphacool ES 40 mm fans with PWM control ensure optimum cooling performance. Drives The 1U server rack offers mounting options for two 5.25" drives on the left and right side of the front. Each 5.25" bay offers the alternative of mounting two 3.5" drives. A holding frame for mounting up to four 2.5" drives is pre-mounted in the centre front. This holding frame can be mounted at five other positions in the enclosure. Mainboard For mounting an SSI-EBB mainboard, all the usual screw connection options in the classic ATX format are available. This includes all mounting holes for Mini-ITX to EE-ATX.
