With the fans of the MP, SP, and XP series, PHANTEKS brings powerful fans to the market, with the SP and XP variants (with and without PWM connector) designed for particularly high airflow, while the MP fans (with PWM connector) focus on the highest possible static pressure. The nine fan blades of the PH-F120XP rotor have been further optimized and designed at a perfect angle to achieve an ideal balance between airflow and static pressure: in this 120 mm model with a 4-pin PWM connector, this results in a substantial airflow of 104 m³/h and a static pressure of 1.72 mmH2O at full 12 volts. The fan operates at a maximum of only 27 dB(A), an impressive result made possible in part by the "Maelström Vortex Booster" (MVB) feature. The serrated elevations on the outer edges help to better define the airflow, leading to less turbulence and thus reduced noise emissions. However, all the advantages of an innovative blade design are wasted if the motor and bearing fail, causing the fan to chirp, buzz, and/or rattle. This is, of course, not an issue with PHANTEKS; the fans are equipped with the proven UFB Bearing ("Updraft Floating Balance"), which ensures quiet operation and an extreme lifespan of 150,000 hours. The nickel-plated temperature sensor in the colour shiny silver from Bitspower is an easy way to keep an eye on the water temperature of a water cooling system.
