Thermal Grizzly DeltaMate Rotary - T Black The Thermal Grizzly DeltaMate Rotary - T in black is a high-quality, rotatable T-fitting specifically designed for custom water cooling. It allows for the flexible branching of a cooling loop or expansion in different directions. Machined from solid brass, an alloy of copper and zinc, this fitting is not only harder and more corrosion-resistant than pure copper but is also anodically compatible with other metals in the cooling loop. For a permanently tight seal, the sealing rings (O-rings) are made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber). This material is particularly elastic as well as ozone- and UV-resistant, which guarantees long-lasting reliability. The robust fitting is easy and secure to install with an 8mm hex key, making it ideal even for tight spots and compact SFF (Small Form Factor) builds. The DeltaMate Rotary - T features one G1/4-inch male thread and two G1/4-inch female threads. Its compact dimensions allow for a modular combination with other DeltaMate rotary and extender fittings, enabling a flexible design for your cooling loop. For maximum safety, the swivel joint is mechanically locked when other fittings are mounted. An optional, rotatable cover cap with the DeltaMate logo is included, which serves as an aesthetic upgrade and can be turned in any orientation. The consistent outer diameter of all DeltaMate connectors ensures seamless and elegant integration into your entire water cooling system. The expansion tanks of the ULTITUBE series are equipped with a tube made of borosilicate glass, which, in contrast to the Plexiglas often used for tube expansion tanks, has a very high hardness and scratch resistance, a very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube has an outer diameter of 65 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. Both ends of the glass tube are firmly connected with metal rings made of black anodized aluminum, which do not come into contact with the cooling medium. The base and lid of the ULTITUBE series are made of resistant acetal and screwed to the glass tube. A large opening is available for filling the expansion tank after unscrewing the lid. A filter element made of a fine stainless steel wire mesh is integrated in the bottom of the container and, in addition to functioning as a particle filter, also separates air bubbles. The filter element is integrated in a molded rubber part and can, for example, be rinsed out under running water. The seal in the upper area of the glass tube is also designed as a molded rubber part for easy assembly and is therefore securely positioned when the lid is screwed on. The PRO version of the ULTITUBE D5 has a gas exchange membrane integrated directly into the cover of the expansion tank. Pressure fluctuations caused by temperature changes are continuously compensated via the membrane without coolant being able to escape.An RGBpx-compatible LED ring with 13 individually addressable LEDs is included in the scope of delivery and can be used to effectively illuminate the expansion tank. An Aqua Computer control unit with RGBpx output is required to operate the LED ring (e.g. D5 NEXT, not included in the scope of delivery). At the end of the strip there is a connector for connecting another RGBpx component.A rubber fastening ring with a stainless steel insert is included in the scope of delivery for an additional, vibration-damped fastening of the expansion tank in the upper area of the glass tube. All D5 pumps offered by Aqua Computer can be mounted on the bottom of the expansion tank, as well as pumps of the same design from other manufacturers. When developing the expansion tank, attention was paid to optimal flow behavior, the result is extremely quiet and quiet operation of the pump. The pump is attached using a slim, black anodized aluminum ring. It is not possible to use the expansion tank without a pump. Fastening material for mounting on a side / rear wall or a standing mounting are included in the scope of delivery. Four soft rubber decouplers are included for decoupling. The EPDM tube from Alphacool's Enterprise Solutions series is characterised by its high resistance to acids, alkalis and external influences and has exceptional longevity compared to conventional PVC tubes. The matt black hose with its discreet velvet look will quickly become an eye-catcher in any water-cooled PC. What is the advantage of EPDM? Compared to commercially available PVC tubing, the EPDM tube from Alphacool is significantly more temperature resistant and enables working temperatures far above 100 °C. Even at higher water temperatures, the EPDM Tube remains dimensionally stable and prevents the hose from warping at points with tighter bending radii or connections. The risk of the water loop leaking or the water flow being obstructed is thus eliminated. The high resistance to external influences makes the Alphacool EPDM tube extremely durable and long-lasting. Mounting The Alphacool EPDM tube is slightly more dimensionally stable compared to a PVC tube.
