Alphacools HardTube family does get an additional sibling. The new HardTubes made out of borosilicate glass certainly bring a new level of quality into every system. The previous method that has been most commonly used for water cooling systems is normal PVC hoses - now Alphacool introduces a new approach to water cooling. The Alphacool HardTube additionally brings more tidiness into the system which enables a further structured impression. Borosilicate glass ticks every box on the checking list for watercooling systems. Stability and a brilliant appearance are not the only qualities that should lead to chosing this glass as even most chemicals and temperature flactuations can not harm the borosilicate glass. The whole chemical industry is depending on this glass and we can certainly say that this is not without reason. All glass tubes are compatible with the Alphacool HardTube connectors. Alphacool currently offers two classical sizes. One tube with a 16mm outer diameter and another with 13mm outer diameter. Further different length with 90° angles are introduced as its not possible to personally deform these tubes. To cut the tubes for the preferred length Alphacool recommends using a diamand cutting disc for the Dremel®. The cuplex kryos NEXT from Aquacomputer represents a new milestone in the development of CPU water coolers. The areas of cooling performance, assembly and functionality have been perfected here. Through an integrated flat nozzle in the cooler housing, the coolant flows in the middle of the extremely fine microstructure of the cooler base and thus sets new standards for cooling performance. The radiator base is made of nickel, the housing is made of white acetal with an anodized aluminum cover. The mounting system is made of solid stainless steel sheet 2.5mm thick. The nickel-plated spring cups are pressed in here. By attaching the cooler to the mainboard with knurled screws and springs, the mounting system is visually very tidy due to the low height. The bracket has a defined stop for optimal contact pressure and force distribution. With the cuplex kryos NEXT for socket 2011, 2066, AM4 and TR4, no additional backplate is required, as this is already part of the mainboard processor socket. The cooler comes with the excellent thermal paste from Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut 0.5 grams. This is packed in a syringe and can be easily applied with the enclosed plastic spatula. 11 individually addressable RGBpx LEDs are integrated under the silver aluminum cover. The Alphacool Aurora Acetal GPX-A 6800/6900(XT) Eisblock combines style with performance. With experience of over 16 years, Alphacool the ability to create GPU blocks that represent high quality and fantastic performance. This perfectly describes the Aurora Acetal GPX Eisblock More Performance! During the development of the EIsblock Aurora GPX-A 6800/6900(XT) graphic card GPU block, we wanted to further increase the performance. The first step was to move the cooler closer to the individual components by reducing the thermal pads to a thickness of 1 mm. Next, we reduced the thickness of the nickel-plated copper block. Instead of 7 mm, it is now only 5.5 mm thick. The water flow inside the cooler has also been optimized. All important components such as the voltage transformers and the memory are now significantly better and more effectively cooled by the water. All this ensures a significant increase in cooling performance. Copper or Aluminium? Of course, Alphacool only uses copper for its water coolers. With the Aurora GPX-A 6800/6900(XT) Eisblock, the copper is nickel-plated. Compared to its predecessor models, Alphacool has improved the nickel plating even further, which has considerably increased the acid resistance. This means that the nickel should resist flaking. Why does Alphacool rely on copper instead of aluminium? Simply, copper has almost twice the thermal conductivity of aluminium and is therefore clearly the better material for water cooling. Is There Anything Else New? The Eisblock Aurora GPX-A 6800/6900(XT) also relies on the new patented stop fittings, which sit flush with the surface of the terminal. On the front of the terminal you can see the corresponding names of the compatible graphic card types. IN and OUT are now marked by small triangles. They are easily recognizable and fit perfectly into the entire aesthetics of the graphic card water cooler. The Alphacool Aurora GPX-A 6800/6900(XT) Acetal is a complete redevelopment of the previous Alphacool graphics card water coolers. No technical compromises were made, but the entire technical know-how flowed into the development and implementation.
