The cooler has been completely redeveloped and optimally tailored to the requirements of this high-performance platform. The base plate of the HEATKILLER® IV PRO for Intel Xeon covers the entire heat spreader of a Xeon processor and can thus absorb the waste heat that occurs. The cooling geometry is extremely large at 48x40mm. The flow is perfectly optimized for the Xeon architecture and thus achieves outstanding cooling properties. Thanks to the large-volume and rounded channels, the flow resistance is also extremely low. The cooler has 5 full G1 / 4 " connections and can thus be integrated into a wide variety of circuits and systems. For installation in tower systems, there are inlet and outlet ports on the top of the cooler, so that it can be connected like a classic CPU cooler. Thanks to the low height, the cooler can also be used in 1U server systems without restriction: an inlet and two optional outlets on the front of the cooler enable extremely compact and space-saving installation. Thanks to its modular structure, the top can also be rotated 180 degrees in the mounting frame, so that the orientation of the inlet can be chosen variably.
