Mechanical Switches in Detail: Cherry MX2A Blue This version uses Cherry MX2A Blue Switches. These switches represent the latest generation of classic Cherry MX switches and are characterised by an improved bottom housing and an optimised factory lubrication process. They offer precise and tactile feedback with an audible click, making them ideal for heavy typists who prefer a noticeably distinct and thus more satisfying typing experience. Flat Housing and Soft Sound A common criticism of mechanical full-size keyboards is their bulkiness. The newly developed housing of the Ducky Zero 6108 is flatter than its predecessors and, in combination with the three-stage feet, relieves your wrists. To improve the sound and typing feel, Ducky tested a total of 17 different rubber compounds and selected the most suitable variant for the Q-Bounce pad. This is combined with an additional foam layer to effectively dampen resonances when typing and hard keystrokes.
