Strong cooling performance for your components In developing the NV series and particularly the NV9 MK2, PHANTEKS focused on cooling the components from the start. The case is therefore designed to be very open and aimed at uninterrupted airflow. The top and part of the right side cover are made of mesh, ensuring good air throughput. The bottom is sloped and provides ample space with a maximum distance of 65mm to guide fresh air into the case. Many mounting options for better cooling The PHANTEKS NV9 MK2 offers numerous options for fan installation to optimally cool your hardware. You can accommodate a total of eleven 140mm or twelve 120mm fans, ensuring effective cooling throughout. Three fans can be mounted at the bottom on a removable frame above the dust filter. The side of the case offers space for four 120mm or three 140mm fans on another removable frame. Three fans can be installed on the top, and the back even has space for two additional fans. There is also sufficient space for extensive water cooling. On the top and bottom as well as on the side, one 420mm radiator can fit simultaneously. You can alternatively install a 360mm radiator at the bottom or the top. Additionally, a heat exchanger up to 480mm in length can fit on the side. You can also install a 240mm or 280mm radiator at the back if you want to use a smaller AiO water cooling for your GPU. Ample space for your gaming hardware If you use a large motherboard to get the most out of your system, then the NV9 MK2 is also the right choice for you. For maximum compatibility, you can easily accommodate E-ATX motherboards. Additionally, graphics cards up to 490mm in length and 205mm in width can be installed. There is sufficient space for modern, wider GPUs and 12VHPWR cables in this big tower case. For additional stability, a GPU holder is also included. The PHANTEKS NV9 MK2 also supports CPU coolers up to 205mm in height. The case also provides space for up to three 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives or six 2.5-inch drives, giving you ample storage options for any data. These can be installed on a hinged frame behind the motherboard tray and directly on the back of the motherboard tray. Robust construction and well-equipped I/O panel In addition to the Tempered Glass panels, the case impresses with its construction from robust steel. The frame is well hidden by screen prints on the panels. The seamless glass panels not only provide an elegant look but also an unobstructed view of the installed components. The I/O panel features a power button, HD audio and microphone jack, as well as a USB 3.1 Type-C port and two USB 3.0 Type-A ports for fast data transfer. Additionally, there are four buttons integrated into the case for controlling the D-RGB lighting - one button for each mode, colour, speed, and channel. The top supports either up to three 120mm or two 140mm fans. Additionally, three more 120mm fans can be installed on the mid-plate. The rear also allows for a 120mm or 140mm fan. Furthermore, three PHANTEKS M25-120mm fans are already included in the package. If you prefer water cooling - whether an all-in-one water cooling system or a custom-built water cooling solution - there are two locations to install a radiator. A maximum 360mm radiator can be mounted at the top, and another 120mm radiator at the rear. With these fan and radiator options, your system will not lose performance. Hardware installation The midi-tower supports the installation of large graphics cards up to 415mm in size. Consequently, the current NVIDIA GPUs of the 40 series are also possible. Motherboards up to E-ATX format can be accommodated. To avoid messy cable clutter, you can also install motherboards with back-connect. The CPU cooler should not exceed a height of 184mm. On the other hand, there are hardly any limits for the power supply, as it can be up to 270mm long. To store programs and games, up to six drives can be installed: up to three 2.5-inch SSDs can be placed on the side, two more in the power supply chamber, as well as one 3.5-inch drive.
