With a capacity of about 26 liters, this white micro-ATX case is compact and saves space. Thanks to ample space for fans and radiators and generous ventilation openings, this mini-tower easily meets the needs of powerful hardware. Flexibility meets performance: The fan and cooling options of the Lian Li DAN Cases A3-mATX Wood Edition in white The white Lian Li DAN Cases A3-mATX Wood Edition accommodates up to 10 fans in the 120 mm format. These can be distributed as follows: three on the top, three on the side, three on the bottom, and one at the rear. Alternatively, two 140 mm fans can be mounted on both the top and the side. With 25 mm thick fans at the bottom of the case, GPU height is limited to 61 mm (3 slots). CPU air coolers can have a maximum height of 165 mm. Lian Li and Daniel Hansen from DAN Cases also considered water cooling in the development of the A3-mATX: A radiator can be installed in three locations inside the case: on the top or side, with support for up to a 360 mm (triple radiator) or 280 mm (dual radiator). Here, you have to choose between the two positions. The bottom of the white case can accommodate an additional 240 mm radiator. If you mount the fans below the radiator, you can even install a 360 mm radiator. Unlike a mini-ITX case, this PC case allows you to install a graphics card up to 4 slots high and up to 415 mm long, thanks to its 4 expansion slots. The drive cage provides space for two 2.5-inch SSDs. At the bottom of the white case, you can also install a 3.5-inch HDD or another 2.5-inch drive. Choose between an ATX, SFX-L, or SFX power supply and mount it flexibly at the front or side, creating extra space for your graphics card or radiator—just as you need. With the A3-mATX, the smaller your power supply, the more space you have for the rest of your hardware. The I/O panel on the front of the Lian Li DAN Cases A3-mATX Wood Edition—white offers two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C port, two 3.5 mm audio jacks (mic-in/audio-out), and a power button for switching on. The der8enchtable is a collaboration between Thermal Grizzly, Jon “elmor” Sandström (ElmorLabs), and Roman “der8auer” Hartung. In addition to the features of a standard benchtable—such as integrated mounts for radiators and a power supply—the der8enchtable includes a base unit with an integrated printed circuit board (PCB) for connecting the hardware under test. For consistent test results, fans can be controlled via three fan controllers, each providing three 4-pin fan headers. Each fan zone can be switched independently to 50% or 100% speed, supplies 3 A of power to the fans, and is protected by its own fuse. Additionally, the der8enchtable’s fan zones can be managed externally by the motherboard. The pump zone supplies 3 A per port—6 A total—and each port has its own fuse. Peripherals can be connected to the der8enchtable via USB (4× Type-A, 2× Type-C). Testing and benchmarking hardware typically requires drivers, a BIOS, or an operating system. To simplify this, storage media can be mounted directly on the benchtable. Up to two 2.5-inch SSDs can be installed on the PCB, and the PCB also provides four microSD card slots—a cost-effective alternative to solid-state drives (SSDs) in terms of price per gigabyte. The test motherboard is connected to the der8enchtable via the 9-pin USB header. The der8enchtable itself is powered by the PSU via a PCIe 6-pin cable. For control of the addressable RGB lighting (aRGB), the der8enchtable can be connected to the motherboard via a 3-pin header. Alternatively, an external RGB controller may be used (not included). A power button and reset function are also provided on the PCB and wired to the motherboard. The der8enchtable’s PCB features preinstalled standoffs for ATX motherboards, which can be reconfigured for Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX boards. On the lower section of the black-anodized aluminum frame, a power supply can be mounted, and a custom-cuttable Velcro strap is provided for cable management. If the lower frame section is not needed, the feet can be attached directly to the base unit with integrated PCB, making the der8enchtable significantly more compact.
