Das Externes Gehäuse für 2.5" SATA HDD / SSD mit SuperSpeed USB 10 Gbps (USB 3.1 Gen 2) aus Kunststoff dient dem Einbau einer 2.5″ SATA Festplatte oder SSD. Trotz der schlanken Bauform können Festplatten bis zu einer Höhe von 9,5 mm eingebaut werden. Über eine am Gehäuse verbaute USB Type-C Buchse wird das externe Gehäuse mit einem PC oder Notebook verbunden. Das beiliegende USB Type-C zu USB Typ-A Kabel ermöglicht den Anschluss an eine freie USB Typ-A Buchse. Selbstverständlich kann das Gehäuse auch via optionalem USB Type-C Kabel an eine freie USB Type-C Buchse oder einen freien Thunderbolt Port angeschlossen werden. Dank des VIA Chipsatzes unterstützt dieses Festplattengehäuse SuperSpeed USB mit bis zu 10 Gbps Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit. Somit kann die volle SATA 6 Gb/s Übertragungsrate der Festplatte ausgenutzt werden.
