Kingston IronKey Keypad 200Memory with 256-bit XTS-AES hardware encryption FIPS 140-3 Level 3 compliant (certification pending) The Kingston IronKey Keypad 200 memory is an OS-independent, hardware-encrypted USB Type-A and USB Type-C , featuring an alphanumeric keyboard for easy PIN access. The KP200 memory stick features XTS-AES encryption with a 256-bit key. It is also FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified (procedure in progress), confirming military-grade security with additional solutions that enhance data security. The memory's circuits are coated with a layer of special epoxy resin that makes it virtually impossible to remove components without damaging them, protecting against attacks on the semiconductor chips. The memory is designed to make any attempt at physical tampering visible. It is also protected against password attacks using Brute Force and BadUSB methods through digitally signed firmware. The alphanumeric keypad is coated with a polymer layer that protects the keys and prevents their pressing sequence from being guessed by fingerprint analysis. The KP200 memory is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery that allows it to be unlocked for the first time without software and then connected to any device that supports storage devices with a USB Type-A or USB Type-C connector. This provides the user with maximum freedom to use the memory on multiple platforms with different operating systems. With the Multi-PIN (administrator and user PIN codes) feature, the memory stick allows easy-to-remember but hard-to-guess alphanumeric PIN codes to be set for administrator and user accounts. The administrator can restore the user PIN and provide access to the memory in the event of the user forgetting the PIN or locking the memory after the maximum number of 10 user login attempts has been reached. When administrator and user PINs are enabled, the KP200 memory locks the user PIN after 10 consecutive failed login attempts. If the administrator PIN is entered incorrectly 10 times, the Brute Force protection function erases the memory cryptographically, erases the data irretrievably and resets the device. The memory also offers two levels of read-only mode (write protection) a general mode, which can be set by the administrator, and a session mode, set by the user. Read-only modes protect memory from malware on untrusted systems. Additionally, an administrator can upload content and set the overall read-only mode, which allows the user to access the data but not make changes.
