The alphanumeric keypad is coated with a polymer layer that protects the keys and prevents their pressing sequence from being guessed by fingerprint analysis. If the administrator PIN is entered incorrectly 10 times, the Brute Force protection function erases the memory cryptographically, erases the data irretrievably and resets the device. The memory also offers two levels of read-only mode (write protection) a general mode, which can be set by the administrator, and a session mode, set by the user. Read-only modes protect memory from malware on untrusted systems. Additionally, an administrator can upload content and set the overall read-only mode, which allows the user to access the data but not make changes.
