When administrator and user PINs are enabled, the KP200 locks the user PIN after 10 consecutive failed login attempts. If the administrator PIN is entered incorrectly 10 times, Brute Force Protection cryptographically wipes the memory, permanently deletes data and resets the device. The memory also offers two levels of read-only mode (write protection): a general mode that can be set by the administrator, and a session mode that can be set by the user. Read-only modes protect memory from malware on untrusted systems. Additionally, an administrator can upload content and set the overall read-only mode, which will allow the user to access the data but not be able to make changes.
