With the Multi-PIN option (Admin and User PINs), the memory allows you to set easy-to-remember, but hard-to-guess alphanumeric Admin and User PINs. The administrator can restore the user's PIN and provide access to the storage if the user forgets the PIN or the storage locks after the user reaches the maximum number of 10 login attempts. When administrator and user PINs are enabled, the KP200 locks the user PIN after 10 consecutive failed login attempts. If the administrator PIN is entered incorrectly 10 times, Brute Force Protection cryptographically wipes the memory, permanently deletes data and resets the device. The memory also offers two levels of read-only mode (write protection): a general mode that can be set by the administrator, and a session mode that can be set by the user.
