Planeeritud toite taaskasutamine GS-4210-8P2C võimaldab igal ühendatud PoE-IP-kaameral või PoE-juhtmevaba juurdepääsupunktil teha igal nädalal kindlaksmääratud ajal taaskäivituse. Selle kaitsemehhanism hõlmab ka 802.1x portipõhist kasutajate autentimist. Privaatse VLAN-funktsiooni abil saab kasutaja privaatsuse tagamiseks takistada servaportide vahelist suhtlust. Nüüd saavad võrguadministraatorid ehitada väga turvalisi ettevõtte võrke oluliselt väiksema aja ja vaevaga kui varem. Sõbralik ja turvaline haldus Tõhusaks haldamiseks on GS-4210-8P2C varustatud käsurea, veebi ja SNMP haldusliidestega. ?Sisseehitatud veebipõhise haldusliidese abil pakub GS-4210-8P2C hõlpsasti kasutatavat, platvormist sõltumatut haldus- ja konfigureerimisvõimalust. ?Tekstipõhise juhtimise jaoks on sellele võimalik pääseda ligi Telneti ja konsoolipordi kaudu. ?Standardse SNMP-protokolli toetamisega saab lülitit hallata mis tahes SNMP-põhise haldustarkvara kaudu. Lisaks pakub GS-4210-8P2C turvalist kaugjuhtimist, toetades SSHv2, TLSv1.2 ja SNMPv3 ühendusi, mis krüpteerivad pakettide sisu igal seansil. Paindlik pikamaa laienduslahendus GS-4210-8P2C-sse ehitatud kaks mini-GBIC-porti toetavad SFP automaatset tuvastamist ja kahekordset kiirust, kuna see on varustatud 100BASE-FX ja 1000BASE-SX/LX SFP (small form-factor pluggable) kiudoptiliste transiiveritega, et luua pikamaaühenduse tagavaralülitiga ja seirekeskusega.
