In the case of monitoring solutions, this is a fairly common problem, most often resulting from too great a distance between the distribution device and the end device. Lanberg switches have a function that enables data transmission (max. 10 Mbps) and PoE+ power supply up to 250 m on one cable section. Simply switch the button to the PoE+ Extend 250m position on the case to provide extended operation for ports 1 ~ 24. The solution has been introduced for monitoring and IP systems as well as access control, especially if end devices are located outside without the possibility of installing additional network distribution points. 4 kV surge protection The switch itself, as well as the devices connected to it, are repeatedly exposed to various threats, including electric discharges that can flow through both power and network cables.
