FRITZ!Box 7682 is a high-performance DSL and G.fast router designed for fast home and small-office networks that combine modern Wi-Fi 7, high-speed wired networking, telephony and smart-home functions in a single device. It can connect directly to G.fast lines with speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s, to VDSL connections with Supervectoring 35b at up to 300 Mbit/s, or operate behind a separate cable or fibre-optic modem through its 2.5 Gigabit WAN/LAN port. The integrated G.fast modem makes the FRITZ!Box 7682 particularly suitable for buildings where very high broadband speeds are delivered over the existing copper telephone wiring. The “Data to Server” function allows parameters to be collected from various sources (serial interfaces, industrial protocols, sensors) and sent in a single package to the server. Combined with the Modbus MQTT Gateway module, the user can remotely send commands to field devices and receive data without the need to write custom application software. All rules can be refined using LUA scripts, supported in the RutOS environment.
