MDI/MDI-X auto-detection recognizes the cable type, eliminating the need for crossover wiring. In IP surveillance systems, reliable packet forwarding is crucial - store-and-forward switching with CRC checking helps reduce propagation of corrupted frames.A major advantage is DIN-rail mounting, making it easy to install the device in automation cabinets, and when needed - also in rack environments (e.g., on a shelf or using integration accessories such as rack mounting ears). This provides flexibility for installation both inside and outside RACK cabinets.Metal enclosure for durability and wide operating temperature rangeThe sturdy metal housing enhances mechanical durability, while passive cooling ensures reliability in continuous operation. The recommended operating ambient temperature ranges from -25 to 65 °C, with humidity between 10% and 90%. Although the enclosure itself is not water- or dust-tight, when installed in a suitable box or cabinet, the switch will perform well in demanding environments: industrial halls, manufacturing facilities, monitoring centers, and street cabinets.
