Tööstuslik LTE-ruuter Teltonika RUT986 on tööstusliku tasemega LTE-ruuter, mis on loodud usaldusväärseks pikaajaliseks tööks nõudlikes keskkondades. See ühendab endas usaldusväärse Telit LTE Cat 4 modemi ja töökindla riistvaraplatvormi, pakkudes mobiilside andmeedastuskiirust kuni 150 Mbps allalaadimisel ja 50 Mbps üleslaadimisel, koos automaatse üleminekuga 3G- (kuni 42 Mbps) ja 2G-võrkudele, et tagada pidev ühendus. Laia töötemperatuuri vahemikuga -40 °C kuni +65 °C ja paindlike paigaldusvõimalustega on RUT986 usaldusväärne tööstuslik gateway keeruliste rakenduste jaoks. Täiustatud võrgustikufunktsioonid RUT986 pakub tööstus- ja ettevõtete rakenduste jaoks vajalikke täiustatud võrgustikufunktsioone. Seade toetab nii staatilisi kui ka dünaamilisi marsruutimisprotokolle, sealhulgas BGP, OSPF v2, RIP v1/v2, EIGRP ja NHRP, võimaldades integreerimist keerukatesse võrgustikuinfrastruktuuridesse. Poliitikapõhine marsruutimine võimaldab täpset liikluse juhtimist, tagades optimaalse andmevoo mitme ühenduse vahel. Ruuter toetab laia valikut võrguprotokolle, nagu TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, DNS, HTTP(S), MQTT, SNMP, SSH ja VXLAN, mistõttu sobib see IoT-le, telemeetriale ja pilvepõhistele lahendustele. DHCP-funktsioonid hõlmavad staatilist ja dünaamilist IP-aadresside jaotamist, DHCP-edastust ja täiustatud rendiperioodi haldamist. Traadita ühendus tagatakse Wi-Fi 4 (802.11b/g/n) kaudu, mis toetab juurdepääsupunkti ja jaama režiime kuni 100 samaaegse kliendiga. Täiustatud traadita tehnoloogiad, nagu võrgustikuvõrgustik (802.11s), kiire rändlus (802.11r), BSS-i üleminekuhaldus (802.11v) ja raadioressursside mõõtmine (802.11k), tagavad stabiilse ühenduse dünaamilistes keskkondades. Võrgu segmentatsioon on võimaldatud VLAN-i toetuse kaudu (porti- ja sildipõhine), samas kui QoS ja Smart Queue Management (SQM) võimaldavad liikluse prioriseerimist protokolli, porti või teenuse alusel. WMM ja 802.11e parandavad veelgi traadita liikluse haldamist. Turvafunktsioonid hõlmavad konfigureeritavat tulemüüri koos portide edastamise ja kohandatud reeglitega, DDoS-kaitset, SYN-üleujutuse leevendamist ja portide skannimise ennetamist. Autentimismeetodite hulka kuuluvad eelnevalt jagatud võtmed, X.509 sertifikaadid, TACACS+ ja RADIUS. VPN-tugi hõlmab OpenVPN-i (mitmed krüpteerimisvõimalused), L2TP-d, PPTP-d ja IPsec-i, tagades turvalise kaugjuurdepääsu ja krüpteeritud side. Kaugjuhtimine RUT986 töötab RutOS-i operatsioonisüsteemi alusel, mis on tööstuslikuks võrgustikuks loodud OpenWrt-põhine Linuxi operatsioonisüsteem. Seade toetab selliseid arenduskeskkondi nagu BusyBox-kest, Lua ja C/C++, võimaldades seadme põhjalikku kohandamist ja integreerimist spetsiaalsetesse lahendustesse. Süsteemi jõuallikaks on Mediatek MIPS 24KEc CPU (580 MHz), millel on 128 MB DDR2 RAM-i ja 32 MB NOR-välkmälu, mis tagab stabiilse ja tõhusa jõudluse. Seade toetab nullpuutega kasutuselevõttu, võimaldades automaatset konfigureerimist ilma käsitsi seadistamiseta. Tsentraliseeritud haldus on saadaval Teltonika kaugjuhtimissüsteemi (RMS) kaudu, mis pakub kaugjuurdepääsu, seiret, püsivara uuendusi (FOTA) ja diagnostikat. WebUI-liides (HTTP/HTTPS) hõlmab süsteemilogisid, tuumalogisid, sündmuslogisid ja reaalajas seisundi jälgimist. GNSS-funktsionaalsus toetab GPS-, GLONASS-, BeiDou-, Galileo- ja QZSS-süsteeme, pakkudes täpseid asukohaandmeid, millele on juurdepääs veebiliidese, SMSi või RMSi kaudu. Seetõttu sobib ruuter hästi sõidukipargi haldamiseks, varade jälgimiseks ja mobiilseteks rakendusteks. Toide antakse 4-kontaktilise tööstusliku alalisvoolu pistikupesa kaudu (9–30 VDC), mis on varustatud vastupooluse ja ülepingekaitsega. Passiivset PoE-d (režiim B) toetatakse LAN1 kaudu. Energiatarbimine on tõhus, ooterežiimis alla 2 W ja tippkoormusel alla 7 W. Lisafunktsioonid hõlmavad SMS-haldust, SSH-juurdepääsu (v1/v2), püsivara uuenduste teateid ja kaugdiagnoosivahendeid.
