The Kolink PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable with 90° angle in detail This cable allows you to strategically extend the PCI Express x16 slot present on a motherboard. With backward compatibility to previous PCIe generations and most Kolink cases, this cable effortlessly connects your graphics card and motherboard with transfer speeds of up to 32 GT/s. Even in modding projects or in cases that deviate from the common ATX standard, it may be necessary or practical to place PCI Express expansion cards in unusual positions. The outer material is made of TPE and has flexible segments that facilitate gentle bends. A particular advantage of a riser cable is the ability to position graphics cards vertically, for example, and thus mount them parallel to the motherboard. This allows the card’s cooler to be fully showcased.
