In point-to-point mode, signals can be transmitted losslessly up to 40 km (single-mode) or 300 m (multi-mode). The device also supports point-to-multipoint connections, allowing distribution of signals to up to 253 receivers (displays). By utilizing 1G network switches and existing 1G infrastructure, signals can be transmitted over unlimited distances through cascading, enabling flexible system expansion. For multi-display projects, the extender set can be expanded with additional receivers (RX), sold separately (model: DS-55349). The system is compatible with LC and SC SFP modules, which are available separately (LC single-mode (SM): DN-81002, LC multi-mode (MM): DN-81000). Support for both single-mode and multi-mode fiber cables ensures high flexibility for various applications.
