At lightning speed The enclosure provides data transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps. It works with UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) technology and the TRIM (ATA Data Set Management Command) instruction. With UASP, the USB device can establish a command sequence and execute several commands simultaneously. This increases read transfers as well as write transfers by approximately 30 per cent compared to traditional USB devices. TRIM tells the SSD which data blocks are unused and allows them to be refilled with data. This improves performance and extends the life of the drive.
