See on üks väheseid filtreid, mille poolt loodavat tulemust pildil ei ole võimalik digitaalses pilditöötluses järele aimata. Mis teeb selle filtri nii eriliseks? Esimeseks hakkab silma, et filter on halli värvi. Siit ka teadmiseks, et filter võtab 1,5 kuni 2 astet valgust maha. Enamasti kasutatakse seda filtrit välitingimustes. Polarisatsioonifiltrit ei soovita keerata juba kaamera ees oleva UV filtri külge, vaid kasutage ühte filtrit korraga!
