Ultravioletne valgus on küll silmale nähtamatu (nähtava valguse lainepikkus on 380 - 760 nm), kuid siiski võib see pildi kvaliteedile mõjuda, kuna fotoaparaatide sensorid on võimelised UV kiirgust kinni püüdma.
