Digikaamera omanikule sobivas komplektis on olemas kõik esmavajalik esimesteks katsetusteks Lee kiilfiltritega. Neutraalhall kiilfilter võimaldab ühtlustada kaadri erinevate osade valguse intensiivsust ning saavutada sellega täpne säritus. Näiteks taevas on üldjuhul heledam kui maapind. Üleminekuga neutraalhalli filtriga on võimalik mõjutada ainult üht ala kaadrist, nagu näiteks taevast ning teine pool (maapind) jätta mõjutamata. Tulemuseks on täpselt säristatud ning detailne taevas ning ka maapind. Samamoodi saab neutraalhalle kiilfiltreid kasutada ka loodust või arhitektuuri pildistada, ühtlustamaks teravaid üleminekuid kaadri erinevate alade vahel (päikese käes/varjus). Kiilfiltreid on võimalik kombineerida omavahel ning ka koos filtrihoidjaga pöörata objektiivi ees, andes suure paindlikkuse oma loomingulisuse väljendamiseks. Mõõdud on filtritel 100 × 150 mm ning paksus 2 mm. Tänu 150 mm pikkusele saab ülemineku asukohta muuta lihtsalt filtrit filtrihoidjas nihutades.
