HOYA engineers have developed a new ANTISTATIC coating that acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust. Perfect for environments where dust is common, these filters require less frequent cleaning and maintenance than traditional filters. Additionally, the hardened, antistatic top-layer is water repellent and stain resistant, and cleans easily when smudges or fingerprints are introduced to the surface. The new FUSION ANTISTATIC NEXT professional filters are made in Japan using hand selected silicates that are carefully smelted and blended to yield high performance optical glass. HOYA uses extreme care and precision to apply the improved 18-Layer Super Multi-Coating (both sides) formula which greatly reduces or eliminates reflections on the surface of the glass and yields a ultra clear high transmission rate. This means the filter has virtually no effect on the color balance, contrast, or clarity of the final image. The filters features a lightweight, one-piece, low-profile aluminum frame to house the glass. This one-piece design allows the filter to maintain perfect parallel alignment to the sensor plane for maximum sharpness, while the low-profile form eliminates vignetting when used on ultra-wide-angle lenses. Antistatic coating repels dust Ultra Clear High Transmission Stain resistant - Protects against exposure to ink, markers etc. Water repellent – Water beads up and wipes away easily Fingerprints and smudges wipe away cleanly HOYA's Professional-grade optical glass HOYA exclusive one-piece, low-profile filter frame with front filter threads
HOYA Variable Density II is a density adjustable filter with an ND range from 1.5 to 9 f-stops (ND3-400). The difference with the previous HOYA Variable Density filter is the newly designed rotatable frame with convenient knob, allowing for better operation.Variable density filters are widely used because they can replace a set of solid ND filters by providing a range density that can be adjusted according to the desired exposure settings. In still shooting, variable density filters lower the shutter speed according to the photographer’s intentions when the shutter speed cannot be lowed due to camera limits. Variable density filters can also increase the amount of boke when shooting in the over-lit conditions, thus, preventing the image from overexposure. In video shooting, it is fundamental to keep the shutter speed fitting the frame rate setting. That is, to keep it equal to double the frame rate for optimal results. This is because, unlike still photography, an excessively fast shutter speed may create a jarring effect and produce afterimages that will not look good in the final video.By using variable density filters, the shutter speed can be adjusted to the proper value to get that natural and smooth looking motion requested in video footages.Be aware that when the filter is attached to the lens, the lens cap size becomes one size bigger. So if your lens has a filter thread size of 77mm, you will require an 82mm lens cap. The widened front filter frame has been designed on purpose to avoid vignetting.
Neutral density (ND) filters are the most demanded and essential type of photographic filters because of several reasons. For photographers ND filter means precise control of the amount of light passing through the lens for greater creative control over exposure. For video content creators ND filters helps much to set shutter speeds to match the frame-rate while maintaining the depth-of-field of the footage.Among the varieties of ND filters from ND2 to ND1000 even ND100000, we can generally categorize ND filters into 3 basic groups: Light density filters (ND2 – ND8) Middle density filters (ND16 – ND200) Deep density filters (ND500 – ND1000 / ND100000) Light density filters will lower the shutter speed in the bright sunny day to allow you to reduce depth of field in very bright light or to use a wider aperture to stay below the diffraction limit. For example, these filters are necessary to shoot with your fast lenses like F1.4 or F1.2 with aperture wide open for softer and more beautiful bokeh.Middle density filters will help you to add motion blur to the object in the conditions that generally will not allow camera shutter speed to do so.If you are for more creative shots that are based on extremely slow shutter speeds - deep density filters are to be suggested. ND filters like ND500 or ND1000 will help to capture dramatic unreal fantasy world that cannot be seen by the human eye.Color shift issue solutionHOYA offers its own exclusive and wide lineup of ND filters that are branded into PROND EX series for both photographers and filmmakers. PROND EX filters adopt HOYA's clear optical glass that is mounted into a lightweight, precisely crafted aluminum frame. The frame has front filter threads so you can attach additional filters or a lens cap. Thanks to ACCU-ND technology that puts HOYA ND filters far ahead from other brands the image undergoes no negative affect from color shift that may occur due to low-quality materials, poor manufacturing QC, or issues with leaking of the Infrared band of the light spectrum. The last problem is the most important nowadays in photography and videography.HOYA's exclusive ACCU-ND technology achieves equal reduction of the light in visible and IR spectrums. As a result the photographer may not fear any issue with color shift when using HOYA ND filters in different shooting conditions.PROND filters in video productionND filters in video shooting is also an irreplaceable tool. For example, when shooting with Sony camera in Slog mode, ISO cannot be set below 800. To obtain natural motion shutter speed is recommended to be adjusted to frame/rate setting. During the daytime PROND EX 8, PROND EX 64, PROND EX 1000 or its combination (like PROND EX 8 + PROND EX 64) would be necessary to achieve cinematic quality.Combinations of PROND filtersThe choice of ND filters depends on photographer intentions to achieve the desired effect in the image. In case the effect by using single ND filter does not satisfy photographer's vision, combination of PROND EX filters can also be useful. For example, the combination of PROND EX 8 + PROND EX 64 will give the effect equal to ND500 filter, that can be used to express an unreal fantasy world. The combination of PROND EX 8 + PROND EX 1000 will give the effect equal to ND8000, that will allow to capture the surface of the Sun without overexposure with solid color and visibility of the black spots.

Continuing FUJIFILM's series of compact, portable primes, the black XF 16mm f/2.8 R WR is a 24mm-equivalent wide-angle lens, well-suited to landscape, nature, and architectural shooting. Its f/2.8 maximum aperture balances size and speed, and is suitable for working in available lighting conditions while also limiting the overall size and weight of the lens for everyday use. The optical design features two aspherical elements to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations in order to produce greater sharpness and accurate rendering. A Super EBC coating is also used to control flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity when working in bright and backlit conditions. Complementing the optics is a stepping motor, along with an internal focusing design, which provides quick and especially quiet focusing performance. Additionally, the lens is weather-sealed to suit working in inclement conditions.
The Fujinon XF-90mm f/2 R LM WR is a fast-aperture prime lens with a focal length equivalent to 137mm and a maximum aperture of f/2.0, that delivers ultra-sharp images with rich bokeh even at the maximum aperture setting. The optical construction of 11 elements in 8 groups (including three ED glass elements) minimizes vignetting and creates beautiful bokeh thanks to the rounded diaphragm, which makes it perfect for portraiture as well as other applications.Ultra-sharp images even at the maximum apertureThe optical construction comprises 11 elements in 8 groups, including three ED (extra low-dispersion) elements, which reduces chromatic aberrations to deliver sharp, rich images even at the widest aperture of f/2.0.Beautyful bokehThe rounded aperture blades combined with an optical construction designed to minimize vignetting creates beautiful circular bokeh right to the edge of the image. In addition, stunning depth is possible in images thanks to the differentiation between the razor-sharp subject and the bokeh in front and behind it.High-speed autofocus as fast as 0.14sec thanks to a newly-developed Quad Linear MotorA linear motor is fast, quiet and accurate, but here four magnets are used for higher torque. The high-speed autofocus provides a more versatile shooting experience, allowing users to quickly react to subtle changes in a subject's facial expression.Close focusing to 60cm and 0.3× magnification (35mm format equivalent)The close focusing capabilities of the Fujinon XF-90mm f/2 R LM WR allow you to isolate key parts of a subject so you can shoot dramatic portraits or close-ups of flowers and insects.Weather, Dust, and Freeze ResistanceThe lens features a weather- and dust-resistant structure with seven seals on the lens barrel. It can also work in temperatures as low as -10°C. This keeps the lens protected from rain, dust and splashes of water when shooting outdoors.Lightweight and compactThe lens weighs approx 540g, and is compact too, with a filter thread measuring just 62mm. The combined weight with the XF-56mm f/1.2 R is less than 1kg – great news for portrait photographers who want to travel light and still shoot with prime lenses for sharp images and strong bokeh.
A telephoto zoom offering the most frequently used telephoto focal lengths, equivalent to 76mm to 213mm, and a maximum aperture of f/2.8. It features the latest technology, including dust / water and low temperature resistance, a triple linear motor, and the world's top image stabilization technology in its class, so that users do not miss a shot in any conditions. Its advanced performance makes it a perfect choice, not only for portraiture and snapshots, but also to capture fast-moving subjects in sports or wildlife photography, and for general outdoor nature photography.Optical design for flagship telephoto zoom image qualityTo deliver the best image quality in its class, this luxurious telephoto zoom uses an optical construction comprising 23 glass elements in 16 groups, with five ED lens elements and one Super ED lens element comparable to a fluorite lens. This maximizes the reduction of chromatic aberrations and delivers high resolving power.Applying Fujifilm's unique HT-EBC (High Transmittance Electron Beam Coating) to the entire area of the lens surface ensures ghosting and flare are controlled for sharp, clear images. Also, using the newly developed Nano-GI (Gradient Index) coating technology, which alters the refractive index between glass and air, ghosting and flare are effectively reduced for diagonal incident light.Like other XF lenses, seven rounded aperture blades create a smooth, circular bokeh. An optical design has been used to produce beautiful bokeh at both front and back.An inner zooming mechanism means the lens does not change length so the lens' balance remains the same throughout the zoom range.By combining this lens with an X Series camera body with Lens Modulation Optimizer (LMO) technology, the performance from the lens is improved even further. LMO corrects for diffraction to produce images with edge-to-edge sharpness and create a realistic three-dimensional effect, even at small apertures.High-speed, quiet autofocus thanks to the world's first Triple Linear MotorAn Inner Focusing System is used for high-speed AF. By reducing the weight of the focus lens and mounting the Triple Linear Motor at intervals of 120°, high-speed, quiet AF is possible.Faster AF is possible when by combining this lens with an X Series camera body offering Phase Detection AF. Combined with the near-silent shutter sound, photos can be taken unnoticed in quiet locations. As AF operates using a signal from the imaging sensor, extremely high-precision focusing is possible. With a minimum working distance of 1m for the entire zoom range, this lens is also great for close ups.The best image stabilization performance in its classThanks to a high-performance gyro sensor and unique algorithm that cancels drift, the Fujinon XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR delivers the best image stabilization performance in its class.
