Lisaks, äsja välja töödatud Nano-GI vääristustehnoloogia muudab refraktiivsusindeksit ning varikujutiste ning sisepeegelduse hulk on vähendatud ka diagonaalse valguse puhul.Nagu ka teised XF seeria objektiivid, on ka XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR objektiiv varustatud 7 labalise diafragmaga, mis loob sujuva ümara bokeh efekti. Kasutusel olev optiline disain loob meeldiva bokeh nii eespool kui tagapool subjekti.Tänu sisemisele suumimehhanismile ei muutu objektiivi välimised mõõtmed suumimse ega teravustamise ajal. Samamoodi ei muutu suumimise ajal ka objektiivi raskuskese, mistõttu on seda äärmiselt mugav kasutada.Kombineerides kõike eelnevat Fujifilm X seeria kerega, mis on varustatud LMO (Lens Modulation Optimizer) tehnoloogiaga, saab objektiivi võimekust viia veel kõrgemale.
