Uued võtterežiimid Ricoh Theta SC2 on varustatud paljude võtterežiimidega, nagu näiteks režiim “Face”, mis tunneb ära inimeste näod ning rakendab neile naha silumist. Veel on kaameral näiteks režiim “Night View”, mis võimaldab madala müratasemega filmida ka pärast päikeseloojangut. Erinevad režiimid võimaldavad fotograafil minimaalse vaevaga kaamerat igale olukorrale vastavaks seadistada. Spetsiaalne rakendus Theta+ nutirakendus teeb sfääriliste fotode ning videote jagamise imelihtsaks. Selle kaudu saad alustada salvestust või pilditegemist, juhtida kaamera tööd ning sisu otse sotsiaalmeediasse jagada. Lisaks saab Theta rakenduses sfäärilisi fotosid imelihtsalt muuta.
