A T-Ring is one of the first accessories you will need if you want to take pictures through a telescope or spotting scope. If you have a Canon EOS camera body, the Celestron EOS T-Ring is the one for you.To use the Canon EOS T-Ring, remove the lens from your camera, and attach the T-Ring in its place, just as you would if you were mounting a lens. The telescope side of the T-Ring has threads that will accept a variety of camera adapters, including the Celestron T-Adapter or Tele-Extender. The adapter you choose depends on the type of photography you wish to do.

On Jupiter and Saturn, contrast is enhanced on the bluish ammonia cloud belts.#56 Light green - The light green filter is ideal for observing the ice caps on Mars and the yellowish sandstorms on the Martian surface. It also improves the contrast of reddish and bluish structures in Jupiter's atmosphere.#47 Violet - The violet filter totally blocks red, yellow and green light, which is useful when observing the polar regions on Mars. With larger telescopes (>12"), it also allows distinguishing some structures in Venus' atmosphere.

This filter is mainly necessary during the major moon phases since the subjective glare of the moon then is strongest and can quickly become unpleasant.However, the filter doesn't only offer advantages during lunar observation, but it also allows for high contrast observations of planets. It amplifies the surface details that make observation particularly interesting. The filter is most strong in the red/blue range. Thus, objects such as the 'Great Red Spot' and the bands of cloud on Jupiter appear clearer.A particularly disruptive factor during observation is the illumination of street lights. This 1.25" Barlow lens from Sky-Watcher gives you an extra 2x magnification for your telescope. This combination focal reducer and field corrector lens accessory works with all Celestron 5”, 8”, 9 1/4”, 11” and 14” Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. This clever accessory makes it possible to have a dual focal ratio instrument, without sacrificing image quality. The Reducer/Corrector is f/6.3 for C5, C8, C9¼ and C11 telescopes and f/7 for the C14 telescope. If offers wide fields of view with any Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. With this 4-element system, you can make a fast telescope for astrophotography out of your SCT. Features and applications of the corrector: The corrector fits to all Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes from Celestron and Meade. It is simply screwed to the 2" thread at the back of the telescope. At the eyepiece side, the f/6.3 corrector also has the SC thread. You can use your accessories as before. The optimal working distance from the SC thread of the corrector is 85 mm. You can exceed or under-run this distance by 15% without appreciable loss of quality. The focal length of the SC telescopes is reduced with the factor 0.63 - 2000 mm become 1260 mm focal length. The speed is considerably increased. You achieve the same saturation with only 40% exposure time, compared to the photography without corrector. The optical correcture system flattenes the curved field of the Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, offering a fully corrected image area of 24 mm diameter. The corrector offers an improvement also visually, the sharpness at the edge is enhanced and the yield of true field of view is obvious. We recommend to use the corrector with 1.25" eyepieces. Adaption of the SC corrector to 2": Many amateur astronomers use a separate focuser at their SC telescope for more precise focusing and avoid mirror shifting.

Combining this lens with the 25 mm provides double the magnification, or the equivalent of a 12.5 mm eyepiece, while the 10 mm gives you the power of a 5 mm eyepiece. Eye relief is the distance your eye has to be from the first lens in the eyepiece in order to see the full field of view. When you use a Barlow lens with an eyepiece, you get double the magnification, but the eye relief is not affected. This is a good thing, because normally the shorter the focal length of the eyepiece, the less eye relief you have. In other words, a standard 10mm eyepiece, as a general rule, will have better eye relief than a 5mm eyepiece. Bonus! The Celestron Omni 2x Barlow comes in a sleek, silver package. The two-element optics are fully multi-coated, and the edges of the lenses are blackened to cut down on internal reflections. A T-Ring is one of the first accessories you will need if you want to take pictures through a telescope or spotting scope. If you have a Nikon SLR or DSLR camera body, the Celestron Nikon T-Ring is the one for you. The 12.5mm medium power Omni eyepiece is a 4 -element premium symmetrical Plössl optical design. Features include blackened lens edges to minimize internal reflection and maximize contrast, multi-layer coating group on each lens surface to maximize light transmission and contrast, and each Omni goes through a two-step anodizing process to prevent reflection from the top eyepiece barrel, unlike most other manufactures who use reflective surfaces. Threaded barrels accept 1-1/4” Celestron thread-in filters.
